Is it just me or do there seem to be more single males lately messaging without reading profiles?

In the last half an hour alone I've been called " Baby, sexy and slutty" in a first message and "In Cardiff for the Rugby" in another. Quite simply I don't give a fuck about people who're in town for whatever reason.

Sorry for the rant, just super frustrated that I'm getting lots of these messages for first time in ages.

To be honest I think most newbies have a preconceived idea of what fab is going to be like, I know I did and I first joined when I was living in Bristol and ended up having to travel miles for meets because I'd managed to get myself blocked for "fancy a fuck" messages by most people in Bristol lol

Anyone who's been on here for more than a cpl of weeks though it's pretty unforgivable as they should of worked it out by then :-/

I also as a single male understand the frustration some of the guys are going through as a lot of the time there isn't much to go on on a profile to help construct a reasonable message other than a list of do's and don'ts and when u do send a decent message 50% of the time if your that lucky u won't get a reply.

I've also been on here as a couple where the single fem I hooked up with didn't have a clue how to send an initial message as she had never had to send one.

So whilst it's easy to criticise, spare a moment to think how difficult it actually can be for single guys and how easy it can be for single fems who rarely if ever have to initiate contact

The best ones have to be the single men who don't notice we are a couple. The amount of 'what are you wearing babe/sexy/beautiful' messages has opened are unreal!!!!

I'm not defending them or saying I will stoop to that level, but it is very disheartening when you do take the time to read a profile, then send a respectful message thinking there is a chance the person(s) may have a mutual interest in you, but it just gets deleted...

Even people who have added me as a friend or after winking each other than accepting my friend request, they then ignore my messages.

Even had people message me, then after I reply they block me lol

Meh. The 'nice' messages get deleted and ignored just as much as the nasty/vile/XXX rated ones.

I delete almost every single message over the last few months. I know exactly what I'm looking for and it doesn't matter how specific I am men skim read (at best) my profile and decide bits don't apply to them. Or that they may as well message me with a compliment and hope they'll get a reply.
