Any suggestions of somewhere to go for a nice day out ? We would prefer to travel on public transport and leave the car at home. I just need to get away from it all and do something fun/relaxing as I'm feeling a bit crap atm.

Drive to llandovery and catch the train to shrewsbury on the mid wales line

I did it was a change and shrewsbury is a nice place

You could even arrange a meet if you wanted
