You get women on here putting statuses up because guys are rude when they mail them but if you open a mail being polite it still gets you no where

It's a personal choice! You put your profile up and if people like it they'll contact you or reply!

I guess women get flooded with messages so I just go by the rule that if you don't get a reply then your not for them....... Don't take it to heart!

totally agree it can only takes seconds only thing is you have ladies on here who have 100 plus messages a day to contend with, you get the idiots that don't like a polite refusal so abuse them something awful, then there's the "why not" brigade or the "you don't no what your missing" gang, then there's the fancy a fuck message I mean really how original, so yeah at times it only takes seconds but when faced with all that and so much more I don't blame them for just deleting without reply as sometimes it's easier, mrs

Plus there are so many men on here whose profile says " straight" yet their verifications are all from men saying how well their cock had been sucked! Talk about bendy!!!!! At least be honest about what you want/expect......

When we first joined I used to reply to all messages even if it was a polite no thanks, but now, much as I hate being rude, it just isn't physically possible without employing a secretary! As missp said at the start, your profile does nothing to grab attention and stand out from your competition. Maybe if you revamped it you'd have more luck.

And it then leads to a list of questions or a long conversation

When you get quite a few messages you can't always keep up with them

Let alone the ones your trying to be polite to as if you then stop replying to them then you get more messaging asking why your not replying now ect ect ect

I try and reply to as many as I can but men don't always realise how much messages single women get

Not being arrogant I'm sure all the ladies will agree with me x

Not just a problem for the ladies, I had a motorbike crash took some time off fab and had missed a good 5-6 messages saying I was up myself for not replying.

When it's a small amount though I felt quite flattered in a weird way

i think we all have experienced the pit falls of messages in one way or another . i always reply if someone has taken the time out to send one simply because i don't have many messages .... but for females and couples it must be a nightmare to try and keep up with it all ... hence i only message friends that i have already on here and it saves the oh another person not replying moan .

yes it is nice to receive a reply, i think we all can agree on that, if I don;t receive a reply it can feel a little frustrating and rude, but I don't get upset and angry about it.

some people ignore because they are just ignorant, others don't reply because of fear of abuse they may get because of the way others have treated them, some just snowed under and get fed up of trawling through the message, plus many other reasons mentioned, I don't take it personal and as disappointed it can be, just smile and move on. Never know one day some one may contact me first

I had a single profile on here and like most of the women have said you be polite and say thanks but no thanks you either get a shed load of abuse or you start getting messages why not etc. The amount of abuse I put up with on my single profile made me close it down x

This is exactly like me!!! I have everything set out on my profile yet guys still ask for meets. You say no then get the why nots. Not just guys either....one couple msgd me a few weeks back saying they were free all week and wanted to meet me . I replied that I didn't meet , was nowhere near them and wasn't interested in couples anyway (all very politely I might say) to which they replied 'oh you really are from Uranus aren't you, up your own arse' and then promptly blocked me.

We used to reply to every message but now we don't for various reasons. Most of which have already been mentioned above. The why not, give me a chance, etc etc etc.

I (Mrs) have been offered cash after turning down meets too and had messages saying they've read the profile and fit our criteria which at the time only said we weren't meeting for the foreseeable as I am unwell. We did filter out single males for a while but a few of our friends are guys plus we chat to people on forums so it isn't practical really so we've hidden our profile for now.

It is on here somewhere that no reply isn't rude and should be taken as not interested.

I've had a couple of blocks, negative mails etc.

It must be extremely frustrating for women to receive copy/pasted emails that are the fab equivalent of junk mail.

I've been very lucky - most people respond to me, even if it's a no thanks. And in some circumstances, the lovely ladies initiate contact themselves!

Unfortunately there are some guys here who hide behind a keyboard, thinking this is some sort of "free sex eBay" and getting the hump and acting like children when they come up with nothing. I suspect these people have no or very little success with women in real life, too.

I just try to remember that there's a human being at the other end (who may well be having their weetabix when they get round to reading your message), and so far that seems to work.

To be fair, half the stuff doesn't come up properly on mobile (like the stuff about not flaming, not posting links etc)

i honestly wouldn't cry about it,just take it with a pinch of salt,but yeah,i think the male to female ratio on majority of sites such as this makes it so that the majority of female's get like a crazy amount of messeges probably all of the same nature or with the same message so yeah.
