"Why let it worry you what other people choose to do??"

Well main reason is spread of disease. Levels of sti's are increasing all the time. Affecting fertility choices of future generations as well as HPV infections increasing cervical cancer deaths in young people. Maybe I should have the attitude that you do but perhaps I'm more aware that I'm not the only person on this planet.

i think missp was coming from the point of view as to why worry, because you have the choice not to meet these people and you also have the choice to perform safe sex yourself.

it doesnt matter if they choose to risk their health or life, it is their choice, you should concern yourself more with your lifestyle and choices.

Right, firstly not all sti's are symptomatic. Secondly HPV is the single biggest cause of cervical cancer. Chylmidia is about 30-40% in under 25s. Death rate from young women with cervical cancer is increasing. Infertility increasing secondary to undiagnosed Sti's. Are you too naive to think these people don't sleep with other people after picking up the sti's

We are ostriches if we believe It doesn't affect other people than the ones going bareback on a group meet.

Personally I'm more concerned about non-swingers. I know so many women and men that think because a woman is on birth control it'll be fine.

Also no sex is safe. Condoms just make it safer. People can only protect themselves the best they can...

You have to manage your own risk the best way you can & threads like this just cause those who bareback to go under the radar. If we respect individual choice people tend to be more open about expressing their preferences, this then means that those of us who don't wish to take those chances, can track & avoid. I personally don't knowingly meet anyone who goes bareback & don't go bareback myself, but I can only assess risk based on the info I know or has been shared X

Not naive at all. But if you take all measures to protect yourself when you have sex whether you meet someone off a swinging site or night club or where ever. If you are totally worried about catching something by having sex then dont have sex.

I am not going to lose sleep worrying if you or anyone else i am never going to meet not alone sleep with has safe sex. I cant change or tell anyone how to live heir life but i can take charge of mine

Look after yourself, protect yourself have regular check ups and maybe just have sex when you are trying to have a child with the one you love.

Put simply it's none of your business what people do with their private lives,it's their choice and no one should sit in judgement which I'm assuming you do by stating " it worries you" ,you also have a choice and that is to play with them or not .

Personally we don't play unprotected but respect people's right to do so if they wish

Your defiantly on the wrong site, it obviously worries you terribly that some people may or may not prefer protected or unprotected sex.

You should either leave the site or better still stop worrying about what others get up to and try and enjoy yourself doing what your happy with, it's there business not yours, and by the way that condom you slip on does not make you 100% safe from std's.

Just use plain old common sense. Its too easy to overthink this subject. If your worried then protect yourself. Everyone that swings has the sense to know the risks! Those who dont shouldnt be here.
