Just ask if she has a face pic and if she says no say your not comfortable sending yours

why would that be awkward? more of a lucky escape I'd say

if I was chatting to a man and he said he had no pics on his profile I would be worried as any idiot can upload a pic these days....

and as for the 'I cant have pics on here because of my job' brigade.....well I just block them...simples
