Our very good friend pussy pinkpaws slipped and broke her left leg yesterday afternoon, currently waiting for an operation to pin the bones back in place.

And it started out to be a nice day .

Ouch I feel her pain.

I shattered my ankle bone 17 years ago and had to have it pin and plated

Hope they make a speedy recovery

A knitting needle is a good call, BUT...

make sure to remind her not to scratch too close to where the operation wound will be though...and make sure that the knitting needle isn't at all sharp to damage her skin under the plaster.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. X

Yes, with a little luck and a fair wind she should be discharged this week.

Though with the left leg in plaster and the right in a boot, looks like it's going to be a while before we can start again...
