Scary isn't it.

I have a friend that works in sexual health and by Christ she can put me off sex so easy I now avoid her.

And I only play safe

Definitely scary. Think it's fair to say I've given my last ever blow job!

How is it scaremongering? Anything that alerts people to symptoms or risks can only be a good thing.

It promotes the problems are out there. True.

But it picks the extreme cases. The 1 in a million person who has an extreme case or symptom. Although some cases I imagine are common issues and problems.

30 odd percent of under 25s have chlamydia. Not that uncommon.

In my defence I don't watch the programme. But I was just trying to create conversation.

Really? 30%. That's a alot.

Scares me anyway without watching the programmes.

Where I live, there was a big sign up when I went for my last check up that said a high case of syphilis were being diagnosed in the area and it was linked to sex/swingers sites

This programme makes me laugh as they are to embarrassed to go to a doctor about anything but will get it out on national tv
