"Out of my league"

I regularly get messages from hot as fuck men who I see as "too hot for me." There is one guy in particular who I have spoken to off and on for quite a long time and he is adamant he wants to meet me but I just look at him and think he could have any women he wanted, why me?? I am no stunner, could do with shifting a few stone and my life seems to revolve around my kids and work atm with hardly any free time to meet. I don't have confidence issues as such but I do seem to have this thing in my head atm about why the fuck are men who I see as "out of my league" wanting to meet me. Ah well....got that off my chest.... back to the 'Bow

I get this too. I have confidence issues and always think they must be taking the piss. Yet all the guys I'd like to play with who ain't exactly God's gifts turn me down lol

You are not alone in having those thoughts about why would they want to be with me....

Someone I had a very brief chat to about it just said because it a their choice to be with you and you should accept it not do as I did and start with wouldn't you rather be with....

You have a lot of great qualities so accept that he wants to meet you and just go for it.

i think its a natural trait of human nature that we always put ourselves down and think something is not good enough for us or we dont deserve it .. but thats where the alpha male or female comes in and says fook it i am worthy ... never know till you try i say ..

I get what you mean though. I get it too..all the time...I pulled out of meets because of it and vanilla dates. .but it's daft..

My biggest one is because I go for the muscly loom. .body builders etc I think why would they want to go with someone overweight but every one has said similar..that just because they are athletic / fit doesn't mean they go for same..lots have said they like my smile/character etc etc ... they no doubt have seen how infectious your personality is and like your curves! You have to go!

Two years ago I blew out a guy because he was "too fit" and it turned out to be one if my biggest mistakes ...

We all get the same insecurities, but after 6 years here & ongoing fun with some of the fittest guys about I've ceased to analyse it. If they want to have fun & I do as well I go in with the initial mindset that its a one off & once they've seen me at my grungiest I reckon they won't be back. Invariably they do come back & I'm not going to think too long n hard about why, so long as we're pleasing each other who cares. I guess we all get the same thoughts, im not the best looking guy and im no where near muscly but still try and talk to people who i think are "out of my league". If you dont ask you dont get, and you may never know what the outcome could be nothing ventured nothing gained good luck x

Sadly it seems that age and body size is the main criteria on here. but when it comes down to a good meet that does not count.

Its all about the person to me (Buck) and have had rubbish sex from so called "hot" or large people and anything in between also great sex so just be yourselves and give people a chance that you wouldn't normally go for.

You might be surprised.

I met a lady on a sort of blind date off pof.when she turned up my jaw hit the floor she was stunning and much younger than me.

I thought oh well this is gona be a waste of time shes way out of my league.but we chatted all night constant and seemed to get on.

4 mths on im still seeing this gorgeous lady! So guess morale is have some confidence in your all round package not just looks attract people.

I'm in a situation atm where I've been chatting for months but will not meet thinking the same

It's definatly a confidence thing. I just looked at your pics and 2 thoughts came in to my head straight away: 1 OMG This lady is smoking hot, and 2: forget it son, she's way out of your league.

So you see you are not on your own.

I guess if they are actively trying to meet you, they are varified and appear genuine, then it is, genuine.
