Anyone else ever messaged someone for fun (along with a photo of yourself) and you get a message back saying "hi I know you" lol almost died, but had a good chat about it

There is a couple on here I approached who I think I know. I did approach them and until they saw my face pic everything was good... But that might just because I am not thier type...

I actually was messaged by a guy I was in the same classes in at school (14), we sometimes use to hang out and I really fancied him for ages but nothing came of it...

we are planning to meet!

A few years ago we went to meet a guy at his house knocked on his door and we both knew him. He used to live opposite me my kids were freinds with his and he worked with my sister but we thought what the hell and played with him and carried on meeting him for a few years. Felt so comfortable with him that fem met him on her own after a while. All here for same reason

Bumped into someone I served with for over 5 years, 15 yrs ago, at the HnH event, we both sort of did a double-take as we walked past each other, then I looked again and approached her, said her name and we had a right laugh catching up, but we agreed to keep it between us, and we won't be playing, that would be a bit weird lol

We've had 2 messages from single guys that we knew , they both sent a face pic with their initial msg (something I think is very risky) , we just replied no thanks but didn't tell them we knew them as we didn't think it fair and didn't want them to feel uncomfortable .

We definitely wouldn't play with people we know from vanilla life, only takes a slip of the tongue from either party and a lot of damage can be done

I don't meet or play with anyone I know. And if I bumped into someone I recognised from the scene, I'd ignore them. Discretion isn't used enough on here imo

I was recently approached at my boys footie tournament(whilst I was with my parents and my other children) by someone I used to meet off here. He just tried to make general conversation but I was mortified. Took a good 5 minutes for him to take the hint. I was quite unnerved after that

We had a hell of a shock at the first local social we attended...so many people we both knew...from work and from social lives.

Discretion is a must in those circumstances.

We are all here for similar reasons, however some have a different idea regarding discretion than us it is fair to say!

I know your family, worked with your sister etc..... Never found out who she was....

Have had a few awkward walks up the aisle in tesco too with people I've chatted to coming the other way with kids and partners!! Lol
