Does anyone else find it annoying when you make the effort to make contact etc and then when you send face pics and youre not for them for whatever reason theres just no reply - personally i find it far politer to simply receive a message back saying sorry youre not for us but good luck . No-one can ever explain chemistry etc but id rather know than just leave it and ignore someone

I have to agree. I understand some people will get lots of mails but.

Got to the stage where I send a face pic early on as that I don't waste my time or anyone else's getting to in-depth with chemistry if they are just going to take one look and go not for me / us.

I understand its thier right but a quick thanks but no.

We always reply to couples especially if they send face pics it doesn't take any effort and it's only polite , messages and pics from single guys are a different matter however , we make it pretty clear on our profile that we're not looking yet we still receive pics , winks and friends invites , really can't understand why they do it

Having said that we generally still reply with a no thanks if the message is polite

Sorry - forgot to say that we always read profiles carefully before getting in touch anyway and wouldnt nag anyone that isnt looking for the same as us anyway and usually start with a wink, wait for a wink back then send a message - i send face pics at an early stage though as it avoids endless ping pong messages only to find its not your bag

I used to reply to all messages saying a polite no thank you ... But thease days "like today " all. I get back is more questions like (why,just this once ,when are you in the mood ) or just pure abuse like called a "stupid slit" so no I don't bother as its leads to stress ?xx

I think it's the nicest way to let someone down personally....explaining to them that they ain't your type and why can knock someone's confidence.

Not only that some on here, especially single girls would need to give up work and spend all day replying........fab requires thick skin unfortunately!......suck it up and move on

I started off replying to every message, the vast majority of people do not take respond well to 'thanks, but I'm not interested.' Usually it leads to further messages asking why you aren't interested, or just give me a chance. Some even get very nasty about it, I find it's easier to not respond at all, that way they know I'm not at all interested and usually don't send another.

I see where youre coming from but i dont find it embarassing - ive been sent some pics of some lovely people on here but for whatever reason they just didnt float my boat so to speak but i still just say You look really nice but not for me im afraid - i find that nicer than wondering what was wrong

I usually just say no thanks and leave it at that. If they still message knowing I am not interested then I block them.

I always try and be polite, and thankfully not had too many guys throw their toys out of prams.

But what pisses me off is when my status or headline categorically states no new meets for now , and I still get messages, I consider that just plain rude,which is a red flag to me in the bedroom if someone can't take no for an answer.

Same as the ones who ask if they can "pop over" when it states clearly on my profile that I cannot accommodate. It is very rude

I used to feel the same way about responses and still feel a polite no is ideal however I have seen loads of times, when females/couples have responded, no thanks and they have ended up in arguments or being abused so I can see both sides. I just use private notes and move on.

Least its not like they mailed you and then ignored you when they meet you socially.
