These companies are trying to make extra money off of us. Products seem to keep shrinking but somehow cost more. How does that make sense.

Spooky coincidence - I literally just came home with a three-pack of Yorkies, and when I opened it thought exactly the same thing. The manufacturers must think we're stupid.

Luckily I'd got mine for a quid in Poundland (other mega-cheap outlets are available) so I still feel like I had a bargain - just not as big a bargain as I'd expected!

mine were a quid in the co-op but that's not really the point...well I don't think it is anyway

Lots of stuff in pound shops and the like are smaller sizes to encourage the illusion of getting a bargain, factfans.

that's all very well but it doesn't explain those that I bought in the co-op (an overpriced supermarket with usually not a lot of choice to be had)were smaller

Fair point. That's probably just a hallmark of co-op being shit. They were probably full size when they were delivered, but the inherent shitness of the co-op made them shrink like a cock in winter.

Ingredients are getting more expensive. So they either hike up the prices or reduce the size.

Yeah i thought they, but some people say you can still get 2ltr bottles in multi packs. Have to admit i have never looked to see if that is the case.

I remember seeing on news a couple years ago a company were to put 2 olives less per jar to save a few hundred thousand pounds per year

Valley's

I challenge anyone to make one, and weigh it, eat it, and then complain.

How it only cost a pound for 4 of 3/4 size twix or Mars bars or snickers.

A regular one is 60p.

go to Lidl and get your self a real bar for under a quid, go on Bach, treat yourself.

I was thinking about this kind of thing earlier! Bought a yorkie and I'm sure the sections of chocolate used to have each letter of the word yorkie on there, now it's down to 5 pieces! #scandal
