Ooh exciting plans

After going to London and attending a mansion party by heavens circle.... a brief discussion with a nightclub owner / house event producer ..we were talking about how little Wales has in terms of swing events/clubs .... and why should London have all the fun... before you know it this nightclub owner has enlisted a business man interested in funding it and is settling up a brand specialising in mansion/penthouse parties.

Today we are naming the brand.. sorting out legalities etc

The general feel will be sexy and classy in upmarket penthouses and mansions.... with a dress code etc

Live house music being played.. bar..playrooms etc with theme nights... BBC nights..under 35 nights... cougar nights...dance nights etc etc

It's all under construction but had the go ahead today

Myself and miss boop will be setting up a party page on here and be hostessing the events..

I know there will probably be the usual bitching about it but I think it could be a whole lot of fun for us welshies.. to have a party/club vibe near to us as opposed to only a wet club.

I'll know more in the week..xx

The ideas and people he's got involved are awesome ..he's got the venue..funding. ..djs.. website under construction .etc

I'm on phone to him now sorting out stock..poles...waterproof mattresses ....swings etc

All because I was banging on about Wales not having much..I'm so excited .. . I can't name him but you all n9 doubt go to his club in Cardiff ... he isn't going to duck about on this

Men had skinny ties..... tight shirts and braces. ..all looked smoking hot

At their parties a Clacton sounds and the women retire to changing rooms to undress into lingerie for the awaiting men...that's a bit posh for Wales but I think he's marketing it for the smarter hot swingers and won't be letting stragglers off the streets in ... I went to one club that were letting the Turks in just because it was only place still open..... shocking

How the London parties operate is pics are sent in and if you are deemed hot you are given a pass to buy tickets .... they also have spotters go along to swing clubs handing out cards to hot singers

I guess they mean attractive. ..well kept. ..etc

I don't think it's a bad idea...you get some right fit ppl that won't go to certain clubs because they let in all sorts. ..to be fair at the office one night was a 90 yr old guy chewing his gums pulling on his shrivelled sausage at the bar. ... now some young 20 yr old couples wouldn't want to play in his company...so a photo application night ensures the mix is right for compatability....it may cause offence to some but I guess there's something for everyone...it's no different to reading a profile that says hot fit attractive people only xx

I think it's just a good way of getting similar people to each night.... compatability

Just like if I'm having a house party I'd try and get similar ages together... or at a BBC party you'd get girls that love black guys. ... if you have ppl that state only hot fit attractive people on their profiles...a night of all those together would work for them x

Well... the owner of the brand killing kittens decides as does the owner of heaven circle and I can assure you there aren't " mingers" walking around at theirs

For one night only a strict entry would mean those of impeccable appearance would be allowed in.. come on..we can all butch about it but let's face it...there are models...gym buffs etc that will probably only want to swap with those similar to themselves. .... just like they sag in their profiled here.

Having an exclusive night I think is appealing. ...let's be honest there isn't anything elite in Wales. ..if you wanted to walk in cams straight from glastonbury 5 day camping you'd be permitted.... and I've spoken to lots of attractive people that upon asked do you go to xxxxx or wherever and their response is always no the clientele aren't what we go for.

Having a strict entry night will offend some but will work for others that only Want to play with those similar to themselves

You see profiles that say hot couple looking for very attractive people under a size 12...etc don't you.... same applies... one exclusive night to bring these people together wouldn't hurt would it. ..London has an elite swinging circle for this reason. ..they are a little more select than the ones we have ...and we are of course talking about one night.

Do I only speak to hot fit ppl....no..I speak to everyone. ... but I also fully accept that of o were to apply for a killing kittens party upon my photos I probably wouldn't gain entry. .that's fine.... because the organisers know what mix they want for that night ... if they want classy elegant sz 12 ladies...my size 16 tattooed red look doesn't work with that....I get that

Some smart 20 year old couples may not want to walk around naked in front of say a 70 year old guy that has taken no pride in his appearance ... so why can't these ppl have one night to themselves.

I'm sorry but some upperclass nightclubs have a strict dress code AND have door staff that politely refuse entry if you don't fit the look.... and I guess for one night that is what the management here wants.

The club he owns is a classy more up temp feel and he wants to market this towards a similar clientele. There is already a club that anybody can go to.....

I think people are just being silly jumping on the theme for one night.

This is no different to them hosting a night for busty women only, or BBC, BBW only, the list goes on.

And they are hosting an array of different nights to fit everybody.

Just offering events with tighter policies and dress code which i think is a fantastic idea.

Everybody will be dressed in similar attire, people will act different and the feel will be a lot more appealing to the masses!

regarding the so called elite nights where photo applications are required, these nights are intended to draw in people from the swinging world in Wales who may be put off by the open entry policy of Chams for example. those who are interested in that type of party are, lets be honest, more likely to be invited. the judging of who is hot would be a panel of people not just one person. the point of this new idea is to open up swinging to a wider audience in Wales. we do not intend to exclude people and a variety of nights will be available for different tastes!

You're clutching onto short straws now.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and they have a panel of beholders.

I'm very sure you don't sleep with people you don't find attractive and at a mass I think the general thumb for who's good looking/looks after themselves is easily viewed.

This is one night out of an array of nights where a group of people who take the greatest of pride in their appearance meet up for fun.

I think folk are making too much of a fuss out of one night when there is a selection of nights for everybody to enjoy.

Don't give the girls a hard time for trying to bring something new to Wales. Something that I myself and lots of others actually think we need here.

Personally think it's a brilliant project and i sincerely hope that it all comes together. It's exactly what we need in Wales. Regardless of age we should all be mature enough to accept that not everyone has the same taste. So if you send pics either for one of these elite nights or even to someone on here and you get a polite "no thanks not my type", then take it on the chin and don't winge. If we arnt successful when applying for the elite nights (which we probably won't be) it won't deter us from attending other nights as I'm sure they will still have the same standards of clients, ie, smart, clean and attractive. Just not models. Big up to you Red for starting the ball rolling . Keep us all updated xx

This venture is going to be a great success. If people disagree with certain nights/events, don't attend. No business will keep everyone happy, all of the time.

BUT trying to please everyone will depend on how often the place is open.

I, obviously wouldn't apply for elite night. Nor would I attend BBC night, as that's not my thing.

But if there was a BBW night, cougar night or a singles night I would like to attend.

People please don't dismiss this before it gets off the ground. The area is in need of such a thing!

It's a business. It'd be daft not to appeal to a market that's apparently screaming out for somewhere to go and spend it's money.

I'm not black, I don't go to BBC events, I'm not gay and I don't feel outraged that there are gay only nights.

From what I can see it's not going to be "models only" all the time, it's just one of a number of regular events they'll hold. It certainly seems to make financial sense from what's been said.

Personally I don't see the problem...

I wouldn't apply for a cougar night as I'm not mature enough... I wouldn't apply for an elite night as I don't feel my body fits the fit toned body criteria.... I also wouldn't be offended by this...I keep it real.

I have just googled killing kittens, I do have a few questions, the party this evening is £160 a cpl and £60 single lady, so no men allowed? I noticed other parties are £100 a couple and £40 single ladies. But no single men prices. Are the prices going to be roughly £100 maybe more? If ithe Cardiff elite swinging is going to be on the same par, will single men be allowed to attend? I also notice the age limit on the KK club membership 18-45, is this going to be the same? I am only asking as I see killing kittens have been mentioned a few times on this thread so I thought I would be nosey

killing kittens has been used as a brand. their niche is making it all about the girls and not allowing single guys.

we are still in planning stages and finer details are to be discussed but I'm sure on the' elite' night there would be select and limited single men allowed to attend.

Most places are upon managers discretion....

You will actually find that some clubs although discreet will actually refuse upon appearance. .. and refuse entry to somebody scruffy looking etc... they may not advertise it buy it goes on!

If you are very concerned about being judged on your appearance may I suggest you don't apply?

I hope you meet every single person that messages you? It would be discriminatory based on appearances should you not?

not really. just by making it slightly more niche the rich and attractive are interested.

not all nights would be expensive and certainly not London prices. but it won't be dirt cheap like chams. a higher prices mean higher quality. if you are happy with lower prices, stick to chams

as we have said this idea isn't for everyone it's clearly not for you x

What's that saying.... You can't please everybody but you can a select few?

Think this will home into this venture and swinging at a whole. Not everybody will agree to rules and policies set by management which is actually a good thing because those who don't agree shouldn't attend because they wouldn't enjoy anyway.

Some people on here just want to nit pick at things, people go out of their way to offer something new and they just get targeted by twunts. I've had it with the camp I'm arranging.

Thankfully I have a zero fucks attitude as those who want to attend see it for what it is and want to embrace the effort that'll go into arranging it and the feel it'll give.

If you don't like something you don't have to do it, if you think it's discriminative, point out the faults of other similar things available first (like mega charges for any single guy that'll attend).

No point trying to come into the forum and try and knock something that's needed because no matter your adversed opinion it'll happen and it will work because this is needed!

This is just an observation but surely there has to be a financial return on the investment? Even if it is open all day and all night it may struggle. Organisers/ business partners fall out. So do swinging partners.

RIP the Kink, the Clink, Wild Passions, even Fannys. Even Chams nearly went!

It's great to think there will be somewhere new but the novelty wears off. It's hard enough getting three couples together for an evening when real life gets in the way! Wales has brilliant people but not the numbers of London. Some outsiders will visit but even so I have my doubts about getting sufficient cash flow.

I run my own business and I'm afraid, in the words of Dragons Den, I wouldn't invest in this except as a tax loss so I'm out!

There would be something for everyone I can assure you..dance nights similar to phukt he owns Wales biggest house night label so these nights will be immense... ... there will be something for most people... please don't judge until you have been and then I welcome your criticism. ..I can only assure you that until I went to heavens circle party I did think similar thoughts to yourselves...but upon seeing a beautifully coordinated classy night with no stragglers...men that look like they haven't washed etc hanging around hallways... would it hurt to have somewhere nice with a little more class... to get dressed up for..play in a secure environment?

Where does it say this? I think the whole concept is that not so liked word 'classy' where by people make an effort in the way they dress and don't walk around in towels and females don't feel pressured by guys acting like prey animals.

It will attract those who 'feel' they simply wouldn't walk around in a towel because of the respect they have for themselves maybe.

I think this kind of venture would attract a wider audience than just Wales alone, I don't however think paying more than you would at Charms or such like should be frowned upon based on the costs that are attached to running such a party. Penthouse rentals in Cardiff are not cheap - same for venue rentals in a city. This is simply no different to going out for dinner, Go and have two meals for a tenner in an average pub and expect an average meal. Go to a noted and recommended good restaurant and expect a better meal, better service and better surroundings with higher quality fittings.

I don't think it reeks of snobbery, if you find things not to you liking on the initial post then it's not for you, everybody judges things different, we're all from different walks of life and all of a different understanding. This is why forums exist because of people's difference in opinion.

I think this venture will shine and anybody attending will feel a lot better about themselves attending an elite noted swinging party where the bench mark and feel will draw the masses who don't like your standard clubs because of the rules set and the way they would make some people feel.

To summarise

There is a club that you go to that others don't like....so a business man has seen the niche and would like to cater for these people..it really is that simple

An example....

He owns a high end club in Cardiff . There are regulars of wetherspoons that may not like the feel of his classy club . And regulars of his club that wouldn't like wetherspoons .....the beauty of that is that they have the choice.......

I could not have said this better myself.

I do not mean to sound snobby but I'm just saying that for what we are proposing it is likely to cost more. as for the rich and attractive comment which was in response to an earlier comment and merely stating that if there is a better quality party, that kind are more likely to attend. all hypothetical.

also the night in question with rich and famous people was actually free so there was no shelling out on their behalf. that.whole point is slightly redundant.

it's purely about good quality and for quality on a long term basis there would be a fee.

I don't dislike everything about the club..I don't like the towel dress code. ..I don't like the clubland cds..etc etc but it is OK for a flirt and play... however...if I had the choice tonight of dressing up ...having a dance to some live house music over a towel and cds..I would choose the first..

However...there isn't yet...hence our idea to launch one.

I enjoy chams, it is what it is. its fun its clean it does the job. if I had choice I doubt I would go.

I lived in London and had to move back home. I am unashamed to say I like a touch of class.

so I can already anticipate the response...stick to London clubs. which as we have discussed costs a lot, add hotel and traveling and an obscene amount is spent which could go on a sexy outfit.

Cardiff in particular is full of young sexy professionals that want to let loose who perhaps don't remember their roots like me and wouldn't even contemplate stepping foot into that we have on offer now.

It's not a social class thing it's a feel good thing.

Me, if I was on here looking for a meet and got chatting to somebody and they said look, I'm not wanting to just jump into bed I want everything to feel right so can we meet socially first?

Me I'd be thinking ok, ideally how do I use this use of my free time to the best of my ability, she says let's meet for a drink, mentions her local which I know is just a run of the mill pub - now, do I just chuck on a pair of Jeans and a T-shirt, meet her, not really feel as if any effort has been made and hope my time comes with its desired intention after drinking beer after beer.

Or - do I suggest a nice place I know where it'll be a bit more expensive but the venue is lovely and dressing up is required to fit into the surroundings and dress code set by management?

I don a nice pair of polished shoes, a pair of smart skinny jeans, a crisp pressed shirt, a blazer - prune my hair and facial hair to present myself as smart, she makes equal effort and dons a smart little black number showing off her curves, her hair done to that where a single hair isn't out of place, nails done, smells gorgeous, wearing those lovely shoes she just loves to wear but doesn't have the chance often and gets to show off her matching handbag.

She feels sexy, I feel smart, we embrace the surroundings, rather than her drinking half a lager she has a glass or two of wine or bubbly, we have a few cocktails, she's still feeling sexy in her clothes and it shows. She's beaming in confidence. We look at the menu and decide a fillet of beef with a caramelised onion and red wine Jus served with fresh seasonal vegetables and fluffy seasoned mash.

Vs local pub,

Smart casual clothes, she's on the lager, Bill is by the bar goaping at her, we decide not to eat because the food is known not to be any good, just average. Evening comes to a close and we pick up a kebab on the way home.

Which one would you decide for your hangover and effort to be most worthy?

Until this club is up and running, everyone should take a chill pill! It's all ideas at the moment after all..

There's a lot of people who don't go to the one club that's in wales, there's a lot more who do not use the forums..

If you don't like it, you don't have to go. Simples! No one is forcing you. It's all about choice, and whether you agree with the way it's been worded or not, we should all embrace anything which gives swingers choice.

Whether a person is deemed to be "rich" is classless in itself. It's all relative. What's "rich" to one, isn't to another. Affordability is what it comes down to, and until a price frame is set up then it's all a pointless argument isn't it?!

You can get people of wealth who are very physically unattractive! Lol lets just see what happens
