Realising you're getting older

Ok yes I'm still young but recently I've come to realise I can no longer be the 'cool kid' and have to act a certain way, I feel 18 until I party with 18 year olds, in the previous generation I'd be expected to be settled with a partner by now, I enjoy a cuppa over a beer, night in over a night out, ok my sex drive is higher than ever, but come on, somebody please tell me something motivational about hitting the 30's club because I'm becoming phobic of age

Hitting 30 you will be in more people's age range on here!!!!!

Sorry that's the best I could do!! I never wanted to be out of my 20's and was really dreading becoming 30. It wasn't that bad in the end!!! When I hit 40 last year, it was a breeze as I felt more free, less pressure and more able to do what I wanted when I wanted!!

New generations are doing things differently to their parents / grandparents. Babies earlier and later. Marriage later or not at all. More putting their careers first and foremost.

As long as you are happy then age shouldn't matter

Lol

I'm 53 and act in my late 30,s when I'm out

But only feel 20 in the head

And reading your posts your very mature

But I bet you still party hard in the right places

And fit in with most age range's

I think if you have a young outlook on life you get on with most age range

As for the sex drive it's better with age

I didn't join fab till I was 51

And I just wish I'd found it yrs ago

Just enjoy every yr because it goes way to quick lol xxx

This really is a big deal to me hitting the big 30, I've more than lived my years though and done more than most 40/50 year olds.

It's just that bench mark, before hitting it its just daunting.

Oh I bought one of them years ago when I was in a vanilla relationship and lived on a farm. Haha.

It went when I become single.

Looking back to the days when I was between the age of 17/24 and I was in a ecstasy induced life that meant living for the weekend and nothing else mattered apart from clothes and house music, all I can say is I've glad I've got a bit older and left those days behind.. I remember coming out of bagleys in London (Google it lol) after 2 days and stepping literally into an aeroplane and going to ibiza for a month.. Remember sitting on a the beach and thinking Shit this can't go on forever.. Looking back now the memories are unbelievable and when all the boys (all in mid to late 30's) get together and talk you think thank god that's over with..embrace your 30's and always think to yourself I've got one big weekend left in me..I can still show these kids how it's done properly

P's I don't condone the taking of said ecstasy but god damn I wouldn't change things for the world

My Ice Castle! South Wales

This year I really struggled with my birthday. Didn't want to hit the wrong side of 35 at all. Totally out of character for as normally I've never cared about age. Didn't want to celebrate or anything. I now know why I was having reservation of having my birthday. Getting bad news was the reason!

I was a bit of a wild one in my youth and I dreaded hitting 30 but it came and it went.

When I hit 40 I became a bit of an adrenaline junkie and did things I never dreamt I would and to be honest, life is bloody good.

I go to gigs with my kids (so I cant be THAT bad) and last weekend I was raving in a field with a load of ex ravers. Someone had to show the kids how it was done

My advice is make the most of the 30's because when your in your 40's you will look back on it and think it wasnt that bad

'Cancel' and 'holiday' do not belong in the same sentence!

I dreaded hitting 30.

But now I'm 42 and absolutely loving life and what it throws at me.

I'm more independent, more confident and can do what I want when I want without asking

Uptown Top Ranking

I don't give a toss about my age really. In fact I'm quite proud that I still go out with the "youngsters" and have a brilliant time. Usually with no alcohol involved. I'm daft enough without booze! I am going to grow old DISGRACEFULLY lol

I started evaluating my life before I hit 30, have I achieved enough, where should I be...blah...blah....think most do!

I'm loving my 30's.....party less but that comes with responsibility.

I find you have learnt many lessons by 30 which puts you in a good place, you know what you like, what you don't like and are just that Lil bit wiser!

As the saying goes "age is just a number"....30's are great and they'll be what you make of them.

I'm nearer the 40 mark now and still no sign of growing up.......apart from the mirror in the mornings

Hitting my forties a few years ago triggered my 'to-do' list. Got a lot of things ticked off, but now really want to travel much more as my biggest goal.

Have been to loads of places in my life, but there are just SO many places to see and enjoy, that I wish I'd started in my teens to actually get to see and do them all...my biggest ambition remains a serious climbing expedition in the Himalayas, and have started saving towards it.

One life - live it

Change your search thread to 30-50's ...sit back and enjoy...like life , age is a gift...sex lasts longer and is much more intense at the peak ...confucuos says " man with floppy willy...knocks more than once "

Enjoy your thirties

as I will be 50 in a few weeks, I'm desperately trying not to think about getting older!

however, as we all read that these days 60 is the new 50....and that women are living longer than men I don't really care as I don't look my age and I certainly don't act it and I have better stamina than women half my age...so bring it on!!
