Have I got anything to be nervous about?

Been on here a while now but still haven't been to any socials or made a visit to chams yet due to the fact I am really nervous and not sure what to expect, do I have to be nervous?

Ye I get that vibe Hun but still doesn't stop me being nervous lol I'm a newbie and probably come across too eager in messages etc which I don't mean too and hardly get replies but it's my own fault so that's probably what's making me more nervous lol

Well you have nothing to be nervous about with the socials because there are no expectations of you as no playing happens there anyway. There are a number of single people who attend and we have met newbies in a pub near the location and took them in so they don't need to go in alone.

Club scene I couldn't comment on for a single male. I just know it's very expensive for you to get into the club.

Little miss giggles runs the single social which you may consider looking at. Newport social is 30th of the month which is.one of the busiest social events x

I went to chams for the first time the other week. I was nervous as well, which is only natural.. The best way I can describe it is it's a bit like getting your first tattoo.

Everyone can tell you what it's like, but you have to experience it for yourself. And when you do go, it's nowhere near as painful as you thought it was gonna be.

Exactly what Mike said.

Like anything new you can read up on it, ask questions and all that but unless you just grab the bull by the horns you'll never know.

In my experience you really have nothing to worry about, mostly everybody is friendly, just be respectful and friendly back and you'll stand well and be enjoy and wonder later why you were nervous.

I was you ten months ago, mister nervous then went to my first single's social and wham bam i'm addicted to this haha. Seriously fella there is nothing to worry about in this scene i have honestly met some of the nicest and most down to earth people i have ever met, your be fine just be respectful your do well here.

I can honestly say that since attending my first social 6 months ago that I have made some true friends here who will be friends for life.

I think most people were the same, I walked into a pub in newport to meet the organisers of the social all on my lonesome as they were all tucking into there steak and chips and 2 hrs later walked into the social all on my lonesome only knowing one person when I.walked in...5hrs later I was walking out with 3 couples and ended up have one of the best sexual nights I've had..

Most people are nervous before that first visit. My first visit (and that was as a couple) we were both physically shaking. My advice would be definitely go with no expectations and allow yourself the luxury of if you dont like it you go home. Absolutely no pressure then. Enjoy!
