Im single and never been to any socials or clubs. Ive read about Chams and some not so positive threads about too many single men following people around. I'm not into pushy people so any single women who have been who can give me a genuine insight or say what an average night is like (if average is right word lol)?

Newport social is a great night to meet new people and a brilliant night out x

Socials are like any ordinary night out and have a good and friendly atmosphere and they do help with meeting genuine people who are on here and gaining and developing friendships

The social events are held in regular pubs on high streets, nothing seedy or scary it's just like a party. As a single lady you definitely won't be alone for long and you can always find other ladies to buddy up with before hand. That's how I found the courage to go to my first social.

Yes details are sent out a week or so before the social. None of the details are ever put in the forum as it's open to the public x

I think Socials are the ideal start for newbies.

It's just like going out on the town with friends, no pressure, plenty of support, and a good way to put faces to names, have a giggle and swap details.

Hook up with a cpl of other single ladies, grab a family room in the local Travelodge... split three ways its quite cheap, especially if you book in advance.
