Neath Social 18th April Change of Venue

Due to small minded vindictive people we have had to change the venue of the social today and will be sending out the new venue details this evening and tomorrow.

We won't elaborate any further but those who are attending on sat are more than welcome to ask us the reasons why when we see you there.

the same thing happened to the Jackie fan club when they decided to organise a Thursday night social in blackwood seems people don't have anything better to do with their time... I think they need to grow up and stop trying to spoil other's fun... IDIOTS!!!!!!

I have had it this week with the singles social.....

People don't relise how much hard work goes into theses socials and i think it's about time fab made the forums private as everyone can read them Wether site members or not

We have also had to change venues after a female phoned our first place saying it was a swingers party.

Just a bit of shameless plugging here ... if anyone else wants to come to a retro disco next Thursday night ... Please get in touch .... 30 people on the list so far .... more welcome .... all being arranged by private message.

Some idiot tried it with us as well, rang the venue and said to the manager, "do you no what type of party is being held in your venue?" He said "yes why? they aren't doing anything seedy, just like a normal party night to us, everyone enjoying themselves, so it's not a problem, and do you have anything else to say?" Lol

Thing is the drums will start beating now and people will start accusing people and that's when it get nasty.

I personally would never of put this thread on a open forum as who ever it is has new info so to speak.i would of messaged everyone who it affected and said change of venue and the reason why.

What concerns me is that there are a lot of people attending these events with a lot to lose and the risk of media coverage is sometimes too big a risk to take.

pretty obvious what they were doing as i was there 4 days and never seen police again some people are so sad .. personal which hunts the lot its awful we have nothing like this in my wales..

Your right about the who knows where I live part that's for sure and my neighbours are sound and would speak to me if there was any problems which there never has been before at the previous 3 parties I've had at my house as people who have attend will tell anyone if they asked them as they have all been very respectful and left after the party with no disturbances what so ever and that's why they will always be invited back

Perhaps there are to many suggestions and no truthfull answers as people,s assumptions are get innocent people into trouble and there is too much finger pointing going on as it is to be honest and it seams that it must be someone who knows all the socail locations and party address,s also so must be someone who's in with the fold and the know also tbth it's that simple but people never see what they should see only what they and others want them to see and people need to see this and look closer to home also

We have to say, that as we know all the organisers of all the Social's and Events (not parties )that are held in South Wales personally. We can say that not one of these people would try and cause any issues or trouble for any one at all, knowing how much work goes into organising a Party,Social or any Larger Event.

It just seems that people are being blamed without any real evidence.

As you can see from what has been said initially in the post we have taken it on the chin and got back up and organised a new venue.

We will in future be very mindful of who will be able to attend the socials.

Sorry to do this but as we all know from experience there are some despicable, vile, vindictive people in the world who are hell bent on causing problems and trouble at every opportunity.

Having started the thread and have now had my final say about things I feel that it should be put to bed and left where it deserves to be (in the dustbin).

Those who have had the new venue and rules sent to them we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow evening.
