Some of the spelling and grammar on this site is horrific. Just seen this 'comeing' it's harder to spell it that way than correctly though surely.

Lol the grammar isn't really the issue its the 'not reading the profile and then a completely crap message! Spelling and grammar are not the problem, you would not expect a foreigner to write perfectly but at the very least to try and link the content with what you are looking for?

And it doesn't make people who can spell above anyone else.

Although this is a swingers site, we are all attracted by different things and also turned off by different things.

We certainly have a preference for people who can spell correctly and don't use text speak, if that makes us snobs then so be it. There are women and couples who state that they will only meet someone with certain physical attributes. Does that make them snobs? No, it is purely their own preference which has been mentioned in previous threads. Some are stimulated solely by the physical, others by the mental stimulation, and some greedy buggers wan't it all.

I detest text speak messages they get deleted straight away. I'm not perfect and occasionally make spelling mistakes but text speak just suggests no effort at all and I think to myself how much effort will that person make on a meet ;-(

I think there's a difference in shooting people down publicly in a forum for bad spelling and just finding it unattractive!

I'm not a snob by any means but if someone can't hold a sentence together then personally I feel they probably are not going to stimulate my mind.

Someone making the odd spelling mistake or incorrect grammar in the forums and getting shot down is a bit much though I think!
