near cardiff

The mighty Diff for me.jackland is nice though.would love to have seen it as a medieval town before it got burnt to the ground in WW2.

Also the old tiger bay my nan grew up in.that end of Bute town is lame now.

Cardiff shopping is better placed than Swansea centrally and within walking distance of train and bus stations.many pubs are also in the center with museums , the castle and the bay is a short distance from the city center

Swansea has the natural beauty of Gower. Cardiff has done a better job when it comes to making the city vibrant and commercially attractive (the Bay, St David's 2).

But Swansea has the football.

Swansea over and over, gower beaches, clyne, night life is not as good as Cardiff but I'm old and past that!

Oh and Wales only premier league football team ??
