Women's Lung Cancer Rates in South Wales

Just read an interesting item on the BBC News website that reports that Women's lung cancer rates in Merthyr are 87% higher than in Monmouthshire. Also the rates of lung cancer in Women in South Wales are increasing.

cancer is with us all only needs a trigger to set it going yes its a devastating illness almost everyday i have to take people to receive a death sentence the biggest problem with it all is people dont talk enough about it its not something to be hidden with proper screening people survive proves screening works its the people in denial that die if you find a lump get a strange cough strange headache get it checked ignorance cost lives and unfortunately gp's are mostly ignorant be assertive talk to people cancer will not go away on its own dont be scared of it be safe also remember it cant be caught off another person it's already in your body just waiting for a trigger

I dont think you can generalise everyone who dies if cancer as having been "in denial". Not all cancers present themselves with obvious symptoms like lumps or chronic coughs.

any thing that's makes me more aware of things to do with any illness I am very grateful of...

and what are the trannys risk health factors???

prob the same risks as men/ women or is it different as they are trannys?????????
