I went up there one beautiful summers day n the skies went dark n got caught in the longest, heaviest hail-storm ever n all of a sudden we're sliding around in ice which wouldn't melt n just about got back down before it got dark...couldn't even knock up a joint in the car coz my fingers were so numb lol So the moral of the story is beware n go prepared for anything ok butt...

Mate, it's not Everest. If you start at 8.30am you can be in the pub for lunch. Unless you have a six-hour orgy or something up there!

It was stunning up there. We started at the bottom around 9. Well pleased we started then as it was very quiet at the top. There was hundreds walking up on our way down. Got some stunning pics and vids.

You see all sorts of crazies up the beacons. I've been up there in the winter, snow down and saw a young couple coming up, him in jeans and trainers and a hoodie and her in leggings and little flat pumps. Neither looked very enthused. Mad.

It's absolutely stunning. A few of my friends walked up there yesterday after seeing my pics on f.book. We are lucky to live so close to such natural beauty. I'm only an hr away by car. Xx
