Daytime Social?

Ive been knocking around here for a while now, but sadly have never been able to make a social yet. More than often I'm working in the evenings they're on, so would there be any interest in an afternoon or lunchtime social, or am i just overambitious/deluded?

They use to happen a Lon time ago in o,neills in Cardiff for those who can remember but was from another site

organise one but please dont put the venue in the forum as it is public domain xxx i have lots of daytime socials at mine for meet and greets when my son is working lol

I certianly won't be advertising it in the forum!

Was thinking something like a pub of an afternoon, just turn up whenever if you fancy.

My place couldn't hold a decent sized social anyway!

I am talking to a venue, at the moment about hosting a social in Swansea. I am sure they would be up for a day time meet.

I wonder whether just to set a date for the near future & those who can make it just turn up- it won't be a "playing" social, so we could just do it in a pub in it around Swansea.

There's certainly enough choice & hopefully will let those of us with chaotic work lives get a chance of meeting socially!

Not going to name the venue on here for obvious reasons! But open to suggestions.,

Also what about the days before Xmas as a potential??

Usually with social events the venue is displayed by PM from the organiser just before it happens , not publicly in these forums anyway
