b.d.s.m. is not a try out its a lifestyle a venture into the dark side where you have leaders and followers stricter protocols its not shades of grey you start at the bottom and work up takes years to get there and earn respect please dont think that you are a dom strait away try and learn first you may be a dominant in your relationship but in the dark side you are a vanilla there are munches around where you can attend and get tuition as its not just beating the shite out of someone or getting flogged there's ways of bondage that are safe and give pleasure and ways that can constrict and kill or maim take the time to learn try switching so you know how it feels on both sides think whos really in charge master or slave remember a bruise can break up and cause a d.v.t a limb without blood circulation for over an hour can cause kidney failure when released there's a lot to learn please don't play at it its fun and pleasurable take the time to learn good luck if you want more info inbox me i am a master on the dark side and i am still learning

You can learn to a degree, but ultimately it has to be in your DNA. Don't rush things and explore the consequences of your actions before you try things so you both remain safe. Listen to Warren, very wise man I'm the subject.

Warren thank you for your offer and I will be in contact in the near future.

I have only just scratched the surface of it and will continue to research and learn

It's an interesting subject try to get to a few munches as warren said I'm new to it all but did go to a munch in Cardiff very nice people all said start at the bottom and take small steps don't rush things. You can research as much as you want here but you need to speak to those with experience and listen to them

a munch is like the swingers social where like minded kinksters meet up to discus arrange and persue their interests theres no play at a munch and all dress accordingly its where newbys and oldies can meet where theres no pressure there quite good gatherings and a lot of information is gleened from them also helps the newbys meet new people and learn the terminoligy associated with the dark side

I have to say that BDSM functions are really good fun. It's easy to imagine people screaming, being beaten against their will; believe me this is not the case. Alcohol is far less prevalent than it is in the swinging scene. of couse you get the idiots, like in any scene. However, people are really friendly and there is never any pressure to play. There is a lot of experienced people on the scene who look out for 'newbies' and ensure no one takes advantage at an organised meet. There is no sex at club events and genital nudity is also not allowed in most places (apart from BDSM parties held at swinger clubs). There is a lot of hierarchical rubbish spoken about with BDSM. I have never seen sight nor sound of it....enjoy the scene
