Must say we was thinking of going when we get over to Wales but as this would be our 1st club visit i'd say it's very off putting.

Had the same thing happen to us single men not taking NO for an answer and following us like bees around the honey pot,we go to Darleston now and the NPT club is almost on our doorstep .Single men should be limited in numbers or sort the ones out that are spoiling it,it in there interest to fuck the octopuses off .

We head off upstairs, and the "conga line" of single guys tend to follow, so I just stop in a corridor and say to the guys queued up behind us "None of you are gonna get to play with us, or watch us, so fuck off".... it works a treat lol!

It's a pity that you have to be so rude to them, but at least then they can't say they didnt know!

twas not only the singles that were a pain we had the male half of a couple pushing too far as well.and we was in the corridor not even a play room .we also left early the fun as left the club please turn the lights off as you leave

It was our 1st night at chams, and was pre warned of the the male conga line but didn't expect it as bad thankfully tho not been put off.

The hyena problem tho does need to be looked at, maybe dramatically decreasing availability for singles to go, inflating entrance price for singles or have a points system and cherry pick the ones who behave

I think the points system is a good idea. We were not in the scene when chams had a couples only night so could not support it then.

We have no issue with single males as sometimes we want these but well behaved ones who know its not a brothel.

as couples requested chams organised saturdays for couples BUT it wasnt well attended so they stopped it. ~The large membership fee paid for by SINGLE MEN I am sure they assume their gonna get to play. It has changed much over the years not so much fun these days shame innit

As a single male never been to chams but I do read forums a lot there are a lot of desperate males here and I believe they will be at the clubs too but if you don't want them to play you should be allowed to say no if they take no for an answer someone from the club should be on hand to issue a warning 2 warnings your asked to leave and not allowed back for 2 weeks this happens 3 times year ban females nor couples should be made to feel uncomfortable

Please everyone - let's not give up on our only major club venue in South Wales.

Let's get a good crowd of like-minded genuine swingers together and go there in numbers - enjoy ourselves and each other and not get forced to retreat by the (relatively) few single guys who behave irresponsibly.

We're going next Friday - come on you lot - let's get in there and stake our claim while we still have a venue to enjoy.

We've been 3 times over the years. Not had a good experience once. The club just seemed a bit seedy and sleazy inside and the single men were a nightmare. Came close on more than one occasion to grabbing hold of one or two when they wouldn't take no for an answer. We won't be back anytime soon.

I understand that people will have bad experiances there but as said above wales deserves a top venue which it could be if supported better in my view the club can be saved and made a top venue again with the right people attending on a regular basis x

Im a single guy - i like the idea of a club of lke minded people BUT i dont see how you can open the doors to all who can afford the fee and not expect them that heavily subsidise the club ie single males having a destorted sense of entitlement.

now this senerio also puts me off - it would be cheaper to go to a real brothel should i be that way inclined.

the only clubs that would work are ones that respect the good single males eg invite only and then dont penalise them financially for going.

much as i want to try a club chams really doenst sound like my vibe.

you cant be doors open to all the desperate people who will pay thinking its garentee a shag and then moan.

i will wait for an invite only kinda place at tleast then i know i wont be in with the herd.

We have been attending Chams in Newport since it opened ..must be best part of 8 to 10 years now. Its the only club of its kind in South Wales other "clubs" have come and gone and another is rumoured to be appearing in Pontypool soon..just 10 miles up the road.

In all those years we have had next to no problem with single guys and those guys we do liase with have been absolutely fine.

The management are currently spending a lot of money refurbing the club. When complete it will be a nicely appointed venue.

Some of the above points are valid but please do not let this thread deter you.

If you have a problem, as suggested note the locker key number or point any offenders out to Kez, Dave, Charlie etc

It may well be worth writing constructive comments to management [email details on Chams website].

We were at Newport Friday there were too many single guys and this has happened in the past, a ratio may be needed by asking guys to apply for entrance each week prior to Friday. A record of attendance is kept each week so this will give an estimate of how many couples/singles are likely to attend.

BUT whatever we all do please continue to support the club ..in rugby terms "Use it or lose it"

Well myself & my fb will be there on Friday looking for fun with other couples, unless we find a couple to meet privately elsewhere.

We used to go on a regular basis before I moved up north and whilst we had one or two incidents with single guys....it never seemed that bad. We haven't been there since the refurb was done, so we might take another look.

You are absolutely right, but the club can't stop single guys from attending, they would lose too much money, and amongst the guys that do attend there will always be a few numpties that spoil it, no matter how many get banned, so my idea is our solution to the problem.

A lot of the comments about single guys could be dealt with rapidly if you point them out to the staff, that's what they are there for after all. Single guys should be vetted and the rules laid down to them before joining them up as members.

When i used to work there every weekend if a single guy hadn't been to a club before i might allow in as a guest so we could observe how they behaved and also I'd ask a few regulars to keep an eye on them and report back about their behaviour. The staff will always be more than happy to deal with your concerns and address them immediately.

No one wants to go out for a good night only to be harassed or angered. The more who report back to staff about problem people - singles or couples - then they can try to eradicate them. There should never be an issue with banning someone if need be to stop them spoiling the majority of customers fun.

My nearest club, The Townhouse,

has induction evenings for single guys, and they're introduced to the club rules and etiquette before they're given membership.

Hopefully that'll sort out most of the meerkats

Couldn't agree more , we've been going to various clubs for 12 years and if u make newport your first ever club experience it's likely you'll never try another one , chams in darleston will give you a real idea of what a proper club is like .

Thats harsh.... one persons opinion of a club doesnt always tell the whole story. We have heard horror stories about other clubs, but we prefer to make our own minds up, often its the people that make or break a good night... go along for yourselves with an open mind, I think you might be pleasantly surprised!

We've been a few times its a lovely place only spoiled by a few single guys who think its a free for all.

We are open to meeting and playing with single guys and couples but that's not an invitation to start touching as soon as we get into the jacuzzi!

We love to socially interact before we play as it builds the tension and leads to much more fun for us all.

Chams newport was our first club and we have been to others. We have never had a problem with single males at the club. We have been followed and also have had banging on the door while we have been in private rooms with other couples but its no different at any other club on a mixed night. We been to 3 other clubs and every other club was the same. Its not the best club in the world but its definatly not the worst either. We just go enjoy if there is no one there that we would like to play with we happy enough to play together ourselves. There use to be a good crowd of couples there a few years back use to out number the single males some nights but it has gone a bit latley. We always thought it would a good idea that the club hold a social non playing event say every three months couples only just to introduce new couples in and let them see the club for themselves. Lots have an opinion but have never even been. More often than not we have a good night. Hope it can pick up again because it is only a hour drive for us and most others we go to are much further away.

As a 'regular' you get 2 no people who go most ov the single me are lovely and polite and sum are a pleasure to no I think problem is less single fems and couples are attending. I loved the saterday night but as people have previously said we all asked 4 it n then hardly any1 used it its a shame 2 say but it seems that inless we stand by chams and have numbers increase were guna loose the friday as well which is a shame the staff especially kez works her ass off trying to keep the place going but there is only so much she can do without the couples and single fems attending
