Just been for my regular check at the clinic, outbreak of HIV SYPHILLIS from Swansea Aberdare Pontypridd Merthyr and towards Newport please be careful, play safe and get tested regularly fabsters x

If you know that to be the case then you should be reporting it to the police. To knowingly infect somebody with HIV is a criminal offence

Right to this...i for one have a conscious and if I knew some one was having unprotected sex while being infected with HIV I for one would not be writing about it in a swingers site I would be informing the police as it is illegal to infect some one with it if you no you have it...

Now I may be slated for saying I would report it but like I said I have a conscious and wouldn't be able to sleep at night...

And I would also name and shame..but again that's me!!!!!!!

what if that was your son/daughter this person was Fucking bareback???????

When I was caring it was only confidential if the client wasn't at risk.

If the client was at risk of anything as in abuse and so on then the other authorities where in formed??

Surely it's the same principal in the sexual health clinic???

As in if they believe someone is putting other people in danger as in HIV they contact who they have to??

Staff in the clinics ARE bound by law of confidentality.. But if the person who has contracted anything wishes to name anyone they have had unprotected sex with then the staff will offer to contact them to go in to be checked. No one will ever get told names in clinics.

Its basic simple common sense though... Play safe and regular checks......simples!!!!

Totally agree with above though if i did know someone playing bare with HIV then i also would have no qualms about going to the police .....

I've had guys approach me here on fab but they have told me from the offset that they are HIV.

Sadly this is the problem people have, they generally post before they fully appreciate the consequences,then try and defend themselves when they are confronted.

The difference between GUM clinic's and internet gossip/ slander. Is clinics are there to screen and give advice. I doubt very much that they would say "Oh do you know fabswingers is the source of X or Y disease?"
