Why is it when you have a opinion and agree or disagree with something/someone the CLICK word is always used???

I for one am my own person and I am not in a CLICK

just because I have made a lot of friends I do not and won't be part of a CLICK

what's your opinion on it????

yes there are and always will be cliques.

In the social sciences, a clique is a group of "persons who interact with each other more regularly and intensely than others in the same setting"

So yes, in school although i bothered with loads of people i had people i preferred to be with and bother with. it carry's on in life .

people in your clique will quickly come to your defense in this forum for instance.

I think the post above describes it better than I would of as communication isnt my strong point.

You just know who will agree with who and it happens too consistantly to be a coincedance. This means outsiders will be shot down regardless of subject.

Just an opinion how I see it through my screen.

we would go with the op on this just because we have friends doesn't mean we don't still have our own point of view on things and yes some times you will agree with your friends points of view but like every thing else in life some times you wont too xxxxxxx

Cliques are usually a very negative thing. to claim to part of one, I think limits your choices and limits the amount of friends you could potentially make on a site like this. I prefer not to get involved in such things as I prefer to build my own opinions and not listen to chinese whispers and rumours which are usually associated with cliques. Ive met some good people here and some not so good. But my experiences are my own and I never kiss and tell about any meets I have.

The Welsh forum is posted on by a very small part of the Wales fabbers.

As such it can seem to be very tight knit and full of regulars

Only by encouraging others to join in can we grow

I just started posting and damn the rest of you lol

Hay all im kinda new to all this but veery excited is this meet on the 29th aug coz its me birthday too class im so eger to meet new people explore new things I bet there some lovelly people there xx

I don't get why some people here are so defensive about this, did everyone cease to be human when they joined Fab? Do they not have friendship groups in the real world, it's all very, very strange

I can sum it up for you in 5 words bro;

It's hard to fit in.

There's a lot of distrust when you get chatting with peeps (and rightly so) and I think it takes a lot for a newbie to be accepted into the crowd.

A clique on the other hand is something else - though of the same flavour.

Rocker/metaheads......Kinksters.....Vanilla......we love all our friends dearly + have so much fun when we spend time with our various friendshipgroups

Why we loving beeing in our cliques??Easy:everybody is friendly + welcoming + not cliquey!!

So a big cheer to all the people who are lucky enough to have a lovely group of friends:either on here or outside of Fab.......hang on:lucky?Luck has nothing to do with it,friendly people attract friendly people + a shared interest is often the start of becoming friends or part of a group of friends.

You're so right Susie, so why should a clique be a barrier? Why are people so scared to admit to a basic human thing that we do? Makes little sense to me, a cluque does not equal unfriendly or unapproachable or not accepting, it recognises that we all have preffered friendship groups x
