Hey Everyone!

My wife and I are opening and holding a new club in Swansea called Fresh!

We are going to hold it in our own home so we expect people to respect it as if it was their own!

It's a large house on the outskirts of Swansea in Brynhyfryd!

We are approaching it differently as we have felt sometimes pressured and intimidated at clubs!

It's going to be a relaxed no pressure to do anything environment!

Two rooms downstairs one for social another for play!

Three rooms upstairs, one dark room so no one can see anyone it's just come in feel and play! Then two other rooms to play in !

No kinky rooms like a club it's our home but hoping this will feel to everyone more relaxed comfortable and fun!

It won't be there for the first party but we are getting a outdoor jacuzzi soon which people will be able to use!

We do ask for a small donation to cover snacks and the obvious other things such as cleaning after and condoms!

Donations!

£15 per couple

£40 single male

FREE single females!!!

Single males will be limited to 2 or 3 maximum!

First party is going to be on the 9th August 7.30pm til 3am

I really hope we have interested people out there attending!

Good luck with this venture.

We really need a few decent venues to go to in Wales. We have the best social scene on Fab in my book but very few places to go to actually get down and dirty lol.

We will watch this with interest and may pay a visit.

I'm with you on that one can't see why they can't smoke outside and as long as there is no mold on the walls as that is a big turn off love the hot tub idea just keep clean lol xx

You're either running a club or having house parties ... is this to get around any licensing arrangements and planning consents with fire regulations etc.

And if it's the former then a "donation" of £40 for a single male is steep ... And unfair.. House parties should limit the number of guests and then be invite only ?

I also agree that £40 is a bit steep £25 is much better they could visit an escort for £40 u need to make sure you are not over priced especially when starting out if we was to pay I would expect a nice clean place well looked after I know that costs but you still need people to turn up xx

Hi Guys

As you can appreciate it is our house so numbers will be limited but will also over invite as people don't show sometimes.

The donation is purely the help towards snacks cost of cleaning and protections i.e condoms.

alcohol is aloud so you may bring your own, i also brew my own wine, lager and beer and your more than welcome to try that too

smoking is in the enclosed back garden only or if raining kitchen only.

I get what people are saying single males etc but some clubs charge £60

anymore questions throw them my way!

I think you really need to get your definition of what you're offering before you might run into any problems ...

Fannys is a club but they don't have any of the things you state above as they are letting you into their home for a small donation to use it for meeting likeminded people

It is bring your own as would have to have a licence to sell, soall alcohol is bring your own

not wanting to put a spanner in the works but with EQUALITY surely you have to charge for SINGLE FEMS the same as SINGLE MEN. Otherwise its a bit one sided isnt it. I do think these Clubs should stay within the law and treat both sexes equally .

Everyone is welcome but we want a mixture of ages there too to be honest most couples are aged 30 to 55 which is fine but thought if we could get younger couples too as some like to chat to older more experienced swingers

Please though don't be put off there are a variety of ages coming

So cpls + the 2/3 single guys have to pay because they create a mess which needs cleaning up the next day + they also eat snacks and single fems don't need cleaning after + eat snacks thats why they get in free ......would make more sence if you just ask for a £10 donation per person!!

Good luck with your party venture as we do need more places in your area......personally without at least a dungeon room it wont be value for money for us. £15 just for the opportunity to meet likeminded people + play on a bed(we allways have our own condoms+not bothered about snacks):well plenty of 'bring a bottle+ a plate'partys in the area

*** UPDATE ***

I have received soooo many messages of people wanting to come !

Some people so excited and that they can't wait as Swansea needs a relaxed atmosphere club!

However, without naming and shaming I have also received abuse saying what I do is illeagal!

I have scoured pages to check! I will now outline below

I'm not an official club we name our parties Fresh so people know who they are talking about

I'm not a business and because I charge it doesn't make me a business!

The donation I ask for is allowed as it is with friends if you went to a mates party and they said everyone put in a tenner and I will get food snacks pops etc etc that doesn't make you a business hence it doesn't make me a business you are merely contributing to the cost involved in making the party happen

There are clubs out there who are CLUBS but are not licenced or a business but you go to then every week and as it's their home and you making a donation they do not need to be licenced and what I was holding is in my home

Due to some pretty threatening mail I am currently cancelling my party!

This is because I am speaking to my local council to confirm the above is accurate which so far they agree with me! I'm also speaking to inland revenue who laughed when I said I'm having a party I'm asking people to contribute to things such as snacks etc and they asked what's that got to do with us your not a business?

Also though I'm moving a bit unforeseen but as we rent sometimes these things happen so once I have sorted all of the above I will post more info

For the people threatening to call the police don't bother already done myself to their response of what you do in your own home is your business but keep the noise down and try not let the neighbours see

People have ruined it and I was thoroughly looking forward to it but will keep you posted

well i do think forty quid for an evening party is a tad expensive for single man means they are paying for the booze and nibbles for the fems who dont have to pay BUT that aside you do not deserve threatening abusive message. Report them to the site owners straight away and maybe keep it to message only which is private whereas forum can be read by non fabbers and you have yr face pics on it. hope ya sort it

well that's the end of that nobody whinged about the same type of party that was held in Tredegar a few years ago and that was exactly the same. everybody wanted invites to that one.

But will say they didn't put it on fab as was only invites through word of mouth maybe that's the way ahead and before everybody starts everybody paid for that as well

I'm not entirely sure that asking whether it's smoking or non smoking puts me in a clique I'm a bit confused by that one, but clique or not, I wanted this to be a goer because it's local to me X

You take your own drinks and some take food to help the hosts out.

Maybe the £40 for single guys will help out the single guys who think it's their right to constantly follow couples around a club even after being told politely that the couple aren't interested. There are decent guys on here so please don't think this is a pop at all single guys. Xx

99% of people couldn't wait for this to happen saying it is what swansea needed and I feel that my wife and I are fun relaxed people who could of really made this work and on a regular basis

As I stated in my last post we don't tend to meet in clubs but it's a shame that some people have tried to throw a spanner in the works before it's even up and running. We have been holding parties for the last ten years and we have never ever charged for anything its just a house party at the end of the day not a club where you pay entrance fee.

We have supplies the nibbles and soft dring and we say to prople bring you own booze and condoms. As for the price of cleaning and the cost of nibbles its bot a lott to be honest its quite cheap.

As for the abuse your having it is uncalled for and there is no reason for itand dame right you should report them.

The prioce your asking is a little steep for a house party £30-£40 for a single guy and £15 for a couple and if im honest thats taking the piss. And one more thing for all you lot for moaning about single guys. If you dont want single guys there dont invite them its simple as that.

If yuou both do decide to organise another party I really hope it works out for you but have a good think about your prices. If you still want to charge bring your prices down for single guys because I know a lott of people we know would never pay to go to a house party and neither would we.

From my point of view, what you are offering is simply not value for money. I can see you've reduced your single male rates, but for someone like myself who only attends parties as a couple I couldn't justify paying to take a playmate to a party at a house that isn't kitted out.

Wild passions/desires used to charge about the same however whilst I've not seen your house, theirs was a huuuuge place with pool room/cages/bdsm room and plenty of rooms.

There is a gentleman who has posted above who regularly hosts parties without charge and they are absolutely great nights both from personal experiences and my friends.

Someone also mentioned the reason for the high costs for single males was to deter the wannabes...surely seeing as it's your place the best way would be to simply vet single males by their profiles/verifications and simply limit the number (wild passions used to limit their swing nights to 6 single males who had to be met socially first)

I sincerely wish you the best of luck with your venture, however I do believe that you need to possibly have a rethink on how to best host your party.

We're always looking for younger people in this area maybe this would have been the place to find them. Too many older people looking for older people and no place for our age bracket. Maybe I'm wrong and it is something wrong with us rather than our number .This site seems to be built around criticism of others, which we've more than once been on the end of. Often the self-thought veterans use sweet ended knockdowns to way themselves in on a given situation.

Oh well just like all the promising opportunities on here. Ruined by the masses.

Can't believe some of the negative comments... It is your home, your party, your rules. If the parties are good we have no issue with paying a contribution. Until you throw a party of any size you never realise what is really involved and the cost of cleaning up.

I would let people bring their own booze...
