The next Cardiff social

Am seeking the advice of you all regarding the date of the next Cardiff social. Here's the problems...am looking for some solutions.

First date chosen:Sat. 26th June - this is the night of the Paul McCartney concert in the Millennium Stadium so not only will town be packed but the hotels will be expensive and in short supply.

Second date chosen:Sat. 10th July - this is the night of the next Swansea social.

2nd July: no good as this is the weekend of the Fabswingers camping trip...and we're going lol.

Before 26th June: too close to last social and not much time to arrange sitters etc.

After 10th July: too close to social on 14th August in honour of Tina and Kev's wedding.

Soooo...any suggestions folks?

I was gonna suggest the Friday before Mcartney's concert but thats no good to those coming from away. the week after swansea social thats still about 3 weeeks before _rystals wedding social innit

we were gonna suggest the same thing the week after the swansea social as john gonna be the dj for that one and we'd hate to miss the cadiff one, shame it can't be june 26th as would of given me a good reason to get outta going to my mates birthday bash!!!! lol!

I was gonna suggest 17th or 24th but looking at the dates the 24th would be way to close to one on 14th so mayb 17th either that or if you dont get much repsonse wait untill 14th Aug and have a mega bash then ..... i know we def be at that one ( if we are invited ) as its our annivesary 2 days b4 and the kids go away on that date .... we been looking for summin to do

woooo hooooo tina cause i just checked my diary and it looks like we be going nowhere till aug 14th ffs ..... well if it means being able to have fun too ... our normal life is gettin in the way of us having fun

August is good, you only need to avoid the Big Weekend on the 1st and the Bank holiday Weekend beginning 29th. What ever you decide we will be there.

try a friday night this time to see if it works with all the other socials on a sat it may help or maybe have a village hall or similar ... i will come and do the music/karaoke for free just for you mand xx

A Friday could be a viable option kitt...but we want to leave a nice gap between this social and the next so we get a brill turnout for Tina and Kev's wedding do. xxx

Lol guys...26th June may still be an option here as although it's the Paul McCartney concert that won't affect us. The room will still be private for us to party. The only down side will be the hotel situation for anyone wishing to stay in Cardiff. xxx

Am leaning towards the possibility of saving ourselves for a mega bash on 14th Aug. What do people think? xxx
