No and I am very sorry to hear the news, not sure how long ago it was but would be concerned if its recent as maybe not quite over the loss and missing the company?

In our opinion you never lose anyone they are always with you in one small way or another. You should live your life to it's fullest, be as happy as you can. If people wish to judge you either ignore them, or ask would they of liked to have spent the last year walking in your shoes?

As hard as it sounds life goes on and we all have needs

If it was other way round I'm sure you wouldn't expect him to never have female company again

You know you loved him that's all that matters ppl will always have something to say ignore them only the ppl that know and care about you count start living again and enjoy x

Yes I agree although I would add that you just start enjoying and not set out to look for a relationship because if its meant to be it will happen anyway! You do what makes you happy

Having lost a partner before I would say only you will know when the right time will be to move on, but I would guess the fact that you're asking shows your mind is ready to start considering the possibility. Like boobs says concentrate on the fun & let the important stuff follow when the time is right X

8 years since my soul-mate passed, and I'm still not over it. I've loved again, but it's never as strong as it was.

Life goes on, and your body needs expression and connection, even if your heart and mind don't.

That's what brought me to Fab - I needed the physical side without strings, and it's been ideal for that.

But it's time for me to slow down now, and I know that my life will take a new direction soon - I can feel that I'm ready..

So sorry for your loss - life does go on, but you can't rush it - just go with your feelings. You'll make mistakes, but we've all done that!
