Catfish

I'm having a Catfish marathon and just wondered...has anybody on here fallen foul of such a person? Either in a romantic sense or a swinging sense?

(For you oldies who aren't down with the kids, a 'Catfish' is a person who uses fake pictures to dupe another person. Nothing to do with racing fish lol)

There is probably loads of fakes on here sometimes u can tell coz the pics clearly ain't even of the same person

Fabbers having fake photos?

Regrettably this is the age of the Internet and is so easy to rip photos from anywhere

Tineye and Google reverse searching are your defence

If it looks too good to be true then it usually is

I have come across a few where you see the same pics but on different profiles and there personal details arent the same. Time wasters I tend to stay away from people who have been on here for over a year and no meets.

Not so much discovering people have fake pics, that's obviously a given on here. I mean more of actually physically meeting someone to find them to be totally different from their pics?

I have done that but the picture turned out to be 20 years out of date..same person..different face let alone the body.. lol

It was very embarrassing as it was plan to see that he had not been honest and he then made a joke about it and then went on to explain about the picture and when it was taken...that was how I knew the age of it...lol

I had the coffee and chat anyway...but not bothered with peoples pics since because they are soooooo unreliable..lol so just stick to the coffee and chat the see the face....less of a shock then.. for them also

Having perused these profiles I believe that they may just possibly be genuine

However only by personal inspection can I by sure
