WESTERN HOEDOWN JULY 2014.

ATTENTION.. PLEASE READ IN FULL ..

AS you may be aware we, due to circumstances beyond our control have had to find a new location for the hoedown, we are pleased to be able to announce we have found a new location and that the new dates will be available upon request please feel free to mail ourselves or _thwalescpl.

Those of you whom have paid in have recieved a mail from us entitled CONFIDENTIAL you are now fully aware of new venue but may we stress please not under any circumstances divulge the new location to anybody that is not attending not even your best swinging mates (IF THEY ARE NOT ATTENDING THEY DO NOT NEED TO KNOW) and given the circumstances im sure they will understand.

For those wishing to attend, the hoedown is a western themed weekend in july (somewhere in the cynon valley) the costs are as follows

£20 per person to attend this covers the cost of staging the event marquee, hog roast , disco , buffet etc it is strictly a non profit event( the more people attend and chip in the more we can organise for you)

also there is £5 per person per night camping (negotiated the price with new venue land owner to remain the same as original location).

Friday is get together chill out night.

Saturday is Raise us a ruckass night yeeee haaaaa

Dress is anything wild west cowboy , indian saloon girl,squaw etc ( NO daisy duke, john wayne would turn in his grave,or masterbate furiously lol).

Last time I spoke to Fire and Ice they were still looking for people to go to the hoedown.

So why is it only a certain number of single guys are allowed to go ? Does the same apply to single fems and couples ? I bet it doesn't.

Why do single guys always get the rough end of the deal ?

Bet couples are moaning about getting harassed by single guys again.

Im sure most of the time they imagine it anyway, makes them feel wanted

Currently, there are around double the number of single males as there are single females, and we had discussed for some time what we should cap the guys at.

This decision was made based on our wish to have a little balance at the event, and no-one has moaned about how many guys were going.... simply because no-one else bar the event team know.

No matter how the final guest-list is made up, there will be someone who isn't happy with there being too many/too few of one particular group, and knowing this we just let the list run (subject to checking profiles), only limiting single males when it was evident that an imbalance would occur.

For those who are keen to see plenty of guys at this event, I'm sure there will be plenty to go round lol!

Not really bothered how many single guys are going. Just trying to point out that if you want to up the numbers to go up surely a single guys money is as good as anyone else's.

But I do think being single and straight for a guy swinging is a curse as they always end up with the bad rep and paying more for clubs etc.

That's if you can find any on Fab these days

We encouraged as many as possible to sign up, and once we reached a "tipping point",we decided to close that particular section of the list. Surely, if anything, we should be applauded for not limiting them earlier, or even, as is the case at some events, not allow them to sign up at all?
