WESTERN HOEDOWN JULY 2014.

ATTENTION.. PLEASE READ IN FULL ..

AS you may be aware we, due to circumstances beyond our control have had to find a new location for the hoedown, we are pleased to be able to announce we have found a new location and that the new dates will be available upon request please feel free to mail ourselves or _thwalescpl.

Those of you whom have paid in have recieved a mail from us entitled CONFIDENTIAL you are now fully aware of new venue but may we stress please not under any circumstances divulge the new location to anybody that is not attending not even your best swinging mates (IF THEY ARE NOT ATTENDING THEY DO NOT NEED TO KNOW) and given the circumstances im sure they will understand.

For those wishing to attend, the hoedown is a western themed weekend in july (somewhere in the cynon valley) the costs are as follows

£20 per person to attend this covers the cost of staging the event marquee, hog roast , disco , buffet etc it is strictly a non profit event( the more people attend and chip in the more we can organise for you)

also there is £5 per person per night camping (negotiated the price with new venue land owner to remain the same as original location).

Friday is get together chill out night.

Saturday is Raise us a ruckass night yeeee haaaaa

Dress is anything wild west cowboy , indian saloon girl,squaw etc ( NO daisy duke, john wayne would turn in his grave,or masterbate furiously lol).

Due to the date change the cut off point for payment is now 14th june the more monies we have in by this date the sooner your night will be fully organised.

I am willing to sell locations and times at £5 per person.

I cannot however garentee if they will be close to where u need to be but u maybe close to other people with cowboy hats and cameras.

yes we would jump on you .

the vetting procedure is very stringent

the veris are checked , the verifiers are checked the friends list is checked, the veris must be in person. also the time on site is also checked and the dates location have changed ...

Sorry but I have agree. The press will stoop very low to get a story.....whether profiles have veris or not I think your walking on very dodgy ground.

Whoever grassed to The press shame on you !! The event last year was amazing! only reason we can't make it this year is because we are away abroad....but seriously whoever blabbed did you seriously think about the consequences of your childish behaviour. The lady who owned the place (hostel) has probably faced some animosity for this.....and probably lost alot of business in the process due to the nature of the press release.

I seriously do not understand why this would be mentioned in a public forum.....as much as I think the world of both the organisers I really think it's a bad move.

The hoedown has been in the public domain I.e forums etc since last year....forum thread after forum thread......Im not surprised in the slightest it leaked out.....and it will again esp after the bridgend gate.

This is a real shame as the masked ball last year was truly amazing. I genuinely mean that and the organisers deserve all the credit they get.....but for your sake guys keep your cards close to your chest and at the end of the day thw only person you can trust is yourself. x

but what if someone still blabs to a buddy its very hard to trust anyone these days. so so very sad everyone loses out. One thing swingers use to live by was TRUST with other swingers but it is scary these days. Maybe money is tight for the person/persons who leak information and they are getting paid for it. IT STILL STINKS

the hoedown as been in the forum since last year the ball was in for 8 months too but like the ball the location was never disclosed so no memeber of joe public grassed it to the press sadly it was from within fab.

as for the veris of potential attendees they will be scrutanised and scrutanised sad we have to go to these lengths to have a brill night out as will the length of time they have joined fab.

the land owner as got a replacment booking already and thankfully there as been no comebacks on her buisness wise, as for the locals i work with two and they told me 1st anyone knew of i was in the wales on sunday and that the landowner had thier support and they thought we should just be left alone as its nobodys buisness , if only they knew i was part of organising it pmsl .

and bearing in mind you attended ball last year so you know how isolated the location was.

The forums is the best place to advertise it after all many other events are advertised in them and go ahead without the press intruding.

if somebody as a grevance with ourselves or _thwalescpl and felt the need to do summit nasty they should have just aimed it at us only, but what they have done is almost spoiled it for everyone attending. whoever the fem was that phoned the wales on sunday is a nasty and sly piece of work xxx

Hiya fire hun. I totally agree with what your saying.....in parts....and to some extent to what kitten says about all being able trust one another.

I feel so sorry for yourself and _thwalescple because I know you both give 100% and a bit more to making sure the event is a success. Again advertising I suppose can only be done via the forums etc but I would do so on the air of caution.

It's a Damn shame that people are this bloody minded and petty.

How did you find out it was a woman who reported you.....if you found out that much surely they can give you a little bit more info.

when I heard it was in the press I looked up online and can not be believe this person even told them names etc.

I'm sure a few names have been put onto the table who it might have been and everyone is speculating .....but whoever it is needs a high five....in the face....With a chair.!!!!!!!!

fire hunny all I'm saying is you know deep down who to trust and not to trust.

I truly hope you have an amazing time because I know how much you invest in the event.

Those of you whom have paid in have recieved a mail from us entitled CONFIDENTIAL you are now fully aware of new venue but may we stress please not under any circumstances divulge the new location to anybody that is not attending not even your best swinging mates (IF THEY ARE NOT ATTENDING THEY DO NOT NEED TO KNOW) and given the circumstances im sure they will understand.

For those wishing to attend, the hoedown is a western themed weekend in july (somewhere in the cynon valley) the costs are as follows

£20 per person to attend this covers the cost of staging the event marquee, hog roast , disco , buffet etc it is strictly a non profit event( the more people attend and chip in the more we can organise for you)

also there is £5 per person per night camping (negotiated the price with new venue land owner to remain the same as original location).

Friday is get together chill out night.

Saturday is Raise us a ruckass night yeeee haaaaa

Dress is anything wild west cowboy , indian saloon girl,squaw etc ( NO daisy duke, john wayne would turn in his grave,or masterbate furiously lol).

Due to the date change the cut off point for payment is now 14th june the more monies we have in by this date the sooner your night will be fully organised.
