Is smoking Ecigs classed as smoking

my comfy bed

Packed in the fags by using these Ecigs .still on it too or would go crazy.lol

Question is to you lovely people does it classify as a non smoker or a smoker?

Well done we are in the process of giving up started 2 weeks ago so far so good its bloody hard though some days worse than others,we are both determined to do it its nice already to have a smoke free home and car....Saphire x

Well I have to say your all wrong because if your smoking an E/cig your still a smoker as its the same or as bad for you as real smoking but without the mess or smell you can look it up if you like as some country's are trying to ban them as there's more harmful substances in them than fags or roll ups

They havent been out long enough to prove this - no point looking it up.

I use one, they can still cause cancer. Nicotine isnt that good for you afterall, but its a lot better than a normal cigg (imo)

My point being, the same article may say 'they havent been out long enough for us to do a long term study and find out the facts' but yet will go on and claim how they are 'just as harmful'.

I recently wiki'd nicotine as I was under the impression its as bad for you as caffene. Its not, its far worse.

But dont be nieve to think if some expert has written something then it must be true. I doubt he or she would of been paid by the tabacco industry to bad mouth e-cigs, but that does happen.

Yes nicotine is the same as caffeine not harmful doctors around our area are sending people to buy them if you go to a proper shop where they been tested in Britain your safe

I cant find the link (it was a medical professor) who said how nicotine can break down certain blood cells and thus your not as strong to fight cancer.

I saw about 4 pages saying the same kind of thing.

Its as addictive as Coke and Heroin but that isnt class as harmful.

Nicotine is only harmful in it's purest form as one drop can kill but not in the way it's used in cigarettes or ejuice (unless you ingest ALOT)

I have been on ecigs for 14 months now and it's helped my health, as an asthmatic, no end. My wife started a week after me.

My doctor thinks they are brilliant things and is glad I switched, as are my two kids and the rest of my family.

I classed myself as a non smoker after about a week. In reality you become a non smoker the minute you give up cigs.

I am so glad I did switch as I love the flavours and ecigs themselves as for me it has become a bit if a hobby....and I save a shed load of money in the process as I used to spend almost £5 every two days just for myself (not including the wife) and now I'm spending £5 a week (except when I buy batteries/tanks/coils etc) and I have saved about £800ish...so even if ecigs were as bad as smoking I don't care as I know what's in the juice (unlike cigs) and it's saving me a ton of money and it tastes a lot nicer

I would also like to ask skeptics (or anyone for that matter) to read up on what chemicals are used in ecigs, what chemicals are used in something like the Nicorette throat spray and what chemicals are put in cigarettes then post their findings and then answer the question of what they would prefer to inhale if they had a choice of the three.

I made pretty much the same post in another thread, and someone tried to list the substances in a cigarette.

They gave up after about 500 with LOADS more to go.

In e juice, there are 5 or 6. All of which are harmless, including nicotine.

Anyone that actually believes e cigs are as bad as cigarettes is more to be pitied than derided.

I'm a non smoker and always have been but I have to say that e cigs have helped a lot of my friends to give up smoking and while some have nicotine in them I do think they are less harmful than cigarettes and many have gone on to give up both so whether its smoking or not I'm pro e- cigs

If your going to buy one, use a proper company and not someone who is in it purely for profit. Where it was bought might also see, mops, buckets, cheap toys, saucepans etc etc.

The proper shops supply you with a guarantee and paperwork saying how they have been tested to Euro standards.

You can buy cheap phones and their chargers also blow up.

Just like brushing your teeth with Domestos. That's not safe, but only a fuckwit would do it.

Same as only a fuckwit would charge an e-cig battery (or ANY rechargeable battery) with the wrong charger.

That's not simply dangerous, that's Darwinism in it's purest form.

I agree with Dirtyuker. If you buy to cheap it not real. There is Counterfeit e-cig coming into UK from the Far East.

There is 100s of tons of C/feit Tobacco and Fags smuggled into UK every year and most of it gets to the end user (the smoker) and what does it contain?.

Same as counterfeit Alcohol with anti-freeze in it, People have died from drinking C/feit Alcohol.
