syphilis 'epidemic'

On the news last night there was a piece about a syphilis epidemic in North Wales...the welsh average for this time of year is 7 reported cases but so far there have been 38 (reported) cases.. obviously that's not including the ones that are too nervous to get themselves to a clinic...

Apparently it started on Anglesy and has now started spreading across North Wales...I wonder if there is a link to this and the number of older people who are getting divorced and going out and 'enjoying' themselves?

How close is it getting to NE Wales I wonder - will this be like a zombie outbreak where we have to go out and shoot them ?

I think you and I should find a bunker, and hide out down there until the plague is over
