It probably does something for someone,

I use a polite hello, introduction and maybe a question, as that's how i'd approach someone new face to face as well.

But know that's hardly eye catching and no doubt doesn't do me many favours either.

Something like a script from a porn scene does sound kinda insulting to me to be honest

so have all but given up on the messages and go introduce myself at socials etc now as its a lot easier to say what i mean face to face
