This issue has cropped up in a few different forms , yes men are tarred with the same brush, lots and lots of guys don't do themselves any favours mind you.

Plenty of people on here are very synical and make assumptions towards guys.

But come on, iv heard about so much abuse from guys on here mostly after they have been turned down, that is unacceptable and I'd love to meet a few of them face to face to 'explain' what cowards they are.

Yes we have a tough time on here and yes lots of us are treated unfairly but there are lots more cowardly dik heads on here that give men the bad rep we have

I must admit that I do feel that single fellas mostly are a good sort. Yes there are one or three dickeads that are really obnoxious if they get refused but, we also have a few female bunny boilers lol its like NON ONLINE LIFE if you are genuine people will realise that you are. Cant lump all single men as w...... s cos they aint. some lovely ones on here xxx

The majority of single guys are brilliant but then you have the minority who are complete arse holes

Us women can be the same mind lol

And most guys bring it on themselves

The trouble is Stu, most of the nice single guys are like you quiet, polite, goddamn sexy & non pushy. The numpties are rude, persistent & bleurgh but they shout louder & take up much of our time. We can't see beyond the filth in our inbox sometimes & you find guys get missed x

I hear what ya saying. I am leaning towards the actual contact side of it to actually get chatting. Just manners in general. I have found that polite well mannered messages in REAL english get the same attention as' you wanna shag' messages. And I understand that women get inundated with messages and mass delete but I mean after its been READ.

Most fabsters who meet single guys + had great experiences KNOW there are fantastic guys on Fab they also very good at spotting the ones to avoid + will stick to their rules in regards to who/when/where/how.New guys who respect + accept that, are more likely to have lot's of fun IN TIME on here.

I for one can't resist a well-worded message in good English and written with respect. It may take a while to reply but I will ALWAYS respond.

My thinking is that if someone has taken the time to sit down and compose a refreshing message that consists of more than 'fancy a shag' then it deserves a reply, even if it's a polite 'thank you for your interest but no thank you'.

Good manners cost nothing and go a long way in my book.

It's a very broad. sweeping statement, and, I think, mostly untrue.

Whilst there are a lot of guys out there who do "let the side down", luckily there are enough decent guys chatting in the chat rooms, taking the profile advice when given, attending socials etc and generally putting themselves out there in a positive way, to redress the balance a little.

The down side is that there's an awful lot of grit to get through first

We've been lucky as anything, a tiny minority of guys contacting us take a while to get the 'no' message but for the vast majority we find good humoured and polite (and mostly manage a few lines)! Oh and as for filthy messages.... Love them too
