pointless posts

I know this is a forum but there are some absolutely pointless posts on here. Why can't the admin introduce a reputation system like on other forums where you get a thumbs up or a thumbs down for your posts and it's displayed for everyone to see on your profile. Maybe then the serial pointless post makers will think about what they put on here. The forum ain't about advertising for meets or moaning about not getting meets or replies to their messages. It's a good thing that you can see past posts by clicking the green arrow by someone's name but a reputation system would be better.

What's your thoughts on this?

Definition, forum: a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

"we hope these pages act as a forum for debate"

People should be encouraged to debate and discuss issues regardless of topic, freely and without prejudiced.

Unfortunately people post topics that require no thought or possibility to discuss and air opinions, for example "do you like my cock" as pointless as it may look, it is asking for peoples opinion and should be deemed a valid post.

Posts about not getting meets or the difficulties posed by a certain gender, if worded in a certain manner could start a debate. This will not however stop the frequency of that type of post, which results in negativity and abrupt responses. A lot of people do not bother searching to see if the topic has been discussed prior but feel the need to air their ineffectiveness at getting a meet thereby showing other members of the site how much of a catch they actually are

However advertising socials could be draw into the category of do not post in the forums after all there is a dedicated section in the meets section for them. People are generally only posting their interest to attend, however it can become a decision on where people are going to meet prior or what happened at the previous one thereby turning into a decision.

So to limit certain types of posts would limit the potential to discuss. However frustrating and pointless a post may be in your opinion it would result in people not participating to decisions.

People will use the forums as they feel they have a right too, whether or not other people view it as appropriate content or not.

You do not have to read or contribute to a post, simple read the ones that interest you and if there is a need to post a reply then you should.
