Wondered if any would be interested in a few beverages during the festive period?? I've spoken to a few friends about it they seemed keen.

This is prob gunna cause some agro but I would like to arrange an under 40's night out, in Swansea somewhere, nothing too formal, just wondered people's views thanks.

What about couples where on is under 40 and one is over? Would only the younger person be allowed to attend?

That's very ageist

Many couples over 40 act and look younger than most 35 year olds.

They are also more sensible, carry less baggage and know how to conduct themselves better than "younger" couples

I wish i was as good in bed in my thirties as i am in my forties.

I have my age limit set on here at 38. . . Not because I doubt the abilities of older people in bed, just because I rarely find anyone over that age attractive enough to find out. Like said further up, it comes down to preferences, which everyone's entitled to.

Dude, posting something like this in here is bound to attract attention, and not all of it will be positive. Using an arbitrary "line in the sand" to exclude people from a "social" seems to go against everything that these socials stand for.

IMHO, after the first few posts you should perhaps have just joked along with it, rather than trying to antagonize those that were posting... you did, after all, invite comments.

You can invite whoever you like to a private party, set whatever parameters you feel like, but when you open it up to "Mr and Mrs Swinger", especially in a public forum, be prepared for opposing views.

Now, normal silliness will resume.... jelly wrestling anyone?

Its everyone's choice not to want to socialise with over 40s now me im a very oldie but its also a very unethical and extremely ageist post. It might have been better for you not to be ageist in post and just pick out the under 40s that put their names down lo0l

On everyone's profile we stipulate age ranges that we are looking for, doesn't mean we are all ageist. Not sure why it is so bad to have a more age specific social. There are lots of socials that anyone is able to go to. If anyone is offended then attend a different social. If anyone likes the thought of the event then show support. No need to turn it into an argument

Asking for people of a certain age isn't ageist

To the OP....you asked for views, you got some, because you don't like those views it isn't very polite to call people trolls because of it.

If you want people to just add to a thread names of people who want to go to your social then maybe just say that on the first post when you are organising it.
