You go ahead and write a nice polite msg and you get no reply is it that hard to say sorry not interested take care, I always reply or am I just being a grumpy git?

this sort of thread is posted on a regular basis.

there are no rules saying that we MUST reply to every mail we have. Take it as a 'not interested' and move on. Not worth worrying over.
