many years ago i didnt so much walk, but had a lift home in a tractor. try climbing into one of them with your high heels and nice dress on...... then the bumpy ride home after way too many sherbets the night before. not a great way to travel

the walk ov shame is going home the next day still pissed or dieing ov a hangover dressed in last nites clothes lookin like uve been draged through da hedge backwards normaly makeup lookin a mess n shoes in hand lol

Not so much the walk of shame...

When we started going regularly to clubs and parties, we used to often get back at 4, 5, or even 6am (this was before we started booking hotels lol), which wasn't a problem, as no-one else was up then.

Until, that is, one of our neighbours started dating a postie.... the look on his face as he was leaving for work and we were rocking up after a night out and getting out of the car..... Jayne wearing her sexy outfit and me looking like the cat that got the cream, usually covered in lipstick and both with that "well shagged" look about us lol!

Sure enough, when Jayne went round to her friends for coffee, sooner or later the questions would start!

My worst was being dropped off at 10 am at our camp site in the quantocks after jaxs party ,everyone was up reading and eating breakfast and we were geting home in a very disheveled state after fucking all night .i ha a Hirt black dress on and my fishnet stockings were showing.i was carrying my vd corset is after ap12 hours with the bastard thing on i had enough of it .lol.thank god we don't live in Taunton and we only had more night to stay .the walk was painful as my heels were killing me also,poppyxx

Many a time in my 20s oh and my 30s and 40s too lol- though when I spent my first night with mr remy - I mentioned it being the walk of shame when he was taking me home (in the car) but he said , "nah it's the stride of pride!!"

No wonder I married him less than 9 months later

There used to be a cable tv programme in the university city of Dunedin in New Zealand called "The walk of Shame" where they would drive round the streets on saturday and sunday mornings trying to catch people in the act and quiz them.

This was a few years ago now so not sure if it is still running but it was a bloody funny programme. There are some of the best ones on you tube
