Cardiff are in for a long season I think. Hopefully there will be 3 worse teams, we'll see.

We've strengthened well, added more goals and much more steel. I'm confident we can repeat a top 10 place, everything else is a bonus.

Yeah it's going to be difficult but hibs are hardly anything more than a glorified pub team. Owain Tudor Jones is a key player for them and he couldn't get in our league one side.

Big season for both sides, I can't wait.

Hibs were an easy side to beat. Malmo will find Swansea a tough game.

only one side???? Choice of players throughout the field. 2 welsh left full backs competing for a place... More than 2 full strength midfield squads that can be fielded & the goal machine that is Michu now playing in his best role behind a dangerous striker...

hoping to get to the game thursday, if Malmo nab an away goal it will be a very tricky 2nd leg

Ok... We have side tracked from our original thoughts..... Any other couples, males or females that go to watch Swans games.... Could be a chance to socialise, maybe leading to more....

"Why worry about us obsession comes to mind, couple wants a meet at your away games don't worry about us and how we will do"

Hardly an obsession, you are our local rivals. Despite the gulf in quality between our team and yours, bragging rights are still up for grabs.

Enjoy it, it's all part of the premier league roller coaster.

We have 2 completely separate midfields all capable of playing. I'm not too concerned with the Europa commitments.

So in all honesty, how do you think Cardiff will do this year? Where do you think you'll finish? How do you rate your preseason and new signings?

Apparently you're bidding for Caulker, great signing for you if you pull it off.

You should offer the 12, he's worth it. AVB doesn't rate him, I know different.

Yeah, have been since the Kenny Jacket days.

I'd have Caulker back in a second but we'd have to sell Ash first as Caulker will want first team football.

No obsession, why would there be?...we're an established Premier League team. It was just a mention for our little rivals up the road there.

but swansea is a city same as cardiff and we both have teams in the premiership now and I am a staunch cardiff city supporter as was my dad and granpa but i salute Swansea for getting there and staying there. We should never knock our welsh teams. I follow Newport I go to the occasional match in liberty stadium so well done all the welsh teams and fans who badmouth other welsh teams are not real fans . Rant over

Part of the fun is hoping your rivals choke. For me you can't be a fan if you you deep down don't want to be better than them and that means them losing.

I'd love to see Cardiff stay up, it won't be easy though. I'd hate it if somehow they manage to finish above us.

Capable of doing it yes and I would say easily normally. However it depends how much of a go they give Europe. If they get knocked out early. Top 10 is easy. If they go far. Top 10 will be a struggle. However I have faith in them. To do well this season.

I have been following the Mighty Jacks for over 40 years this year, first game back when I was 4 years old!!

Shame that this site wasn't going back some 15 years ago it might have made night games on the North Bank a bit more interesting !!!!

Can't wait for tonight's game

Great night of football

Caulker is a good signing for them though.
