Why do all the socials happen in South Wales its a little unfair that all the Moderators are in South wales and all the socials are there too, whatever happened to the North of our country,

We feel that there should be a Moderator in North Wales and maybe they can the organise socials up here also people who live here have someone to identify with

It might help having a Moderator up Here in the North it may encourage a lot more of the North Walians who do bother chatting to use the site more, and that is in everyones best Interst

hell not mods who organise the socials, im a chat room mod, but too busy to busy to organise one of those, its the members who organise them. If you in north wales and want a social organise one and see how you get on, its the same with the other rooms, the members organise the socials xxgood luck anyways

Whats wrong with organising your own socials?

Doesnt have to be anything elaborate, just find a nice pub, have a chat with the people who run it about bringing in a "group" of people, (no need to tell them its a bunch of swingers!! lol), and most places would be more than willing to take all that lovely cash you lot spend on drinks. As Alexander says "Simples".

Also, just in case you manage to find a pub with a seperate room available, take names and sit someone at the entrance to do the "Your names not on the list, you aint getting in guv" bit.

Play-with-us, I'm sure you North Walians would organise a fab social if you put your minds to it. You may even find a couple of us South Walians gate crashing proceedings lol. If I can organise a social event, you can too. Go for it guys. And good luck. xxx

Howdy, it can be easy doing a social, like the others say,find a venue and off ya go, we did one once a couple of years ago when on "another" site lol,it was a great night,we had a buffet,food,disco and allsorts,we told the hotel we were just a bunch of friends who meet up now and again,they didnt mind when we filled every room in the hotel,spent hundreds on food and also 100 odd peeps drinking all night

Oohh mrsp...have been talking for a while about organising a social where we take over a hotel somewhere and have the whole place to ourselves for the night. Bet it was great fun and an unforgettable night. xxx

MMMMMMMMM I can feel another thread starting here " Are Moderators just normal people" You started this in motion now Jac you have to go with it. As for socials the ones I have attended have been excelently organised by one very sexy, and determind lady, I don't believe she is a moderator either, just a normal human being like the rest of us meagre mortals. And as for a lack of events up north I do believe that altougth it is rather bleak up that direction most people have access to some form of transport, so come on down, or there's always DIY nuff said now

You should travel to one of the wales socials,,they are such good fun and a good way of meeting people and putting faces to names from the room,

I am not welsh, but would consider myself as Honoury Welsh,,lol and i travel from Gloucester England to attend the wales socials,, and have had a great evening everytime,,its a great night out,,different 4 walls,lol,, and a great night to spend with ya mates,,,

well we have been running a social for a number of yrs now in swansea with another couple (jonnlyn) and neither of us are mods. why not organise one yourself they can be hard work at first to get off the ground but soon youll find youve got urself a good crowd of regs coming and the fun will keep on coming. good luck with it if you do decide to organise one xx
