Kids want to go camping during summer. Never taken them so dont want to travel too far in case we end up coming home early lol. Anybody got any suggestions of decent places in north wales where they wont get bored?

shell island near barmouth its great there plenty to do also nudist beach less than 2 miles away ; )

Heard about shell island.. will be a family thing so no playing whilst away lol.... no phone signal is a massive put off if weather bad lol

There are some good sites on the llyn peninsula and around porthmadog.

Some even have agreements with caravan sites so you can use their facilities - handy for kids if the weather is a bit duff.
