Cardiff Castle concerts, any good?

visiting various Wales. .. and Daresbury

Who of you have been to any Cardiff Castle concerts?

How was it in terms of organisation, parking, food, experience etc?

Looking for something different to Arena/stadium concerts, so may head to Cardiff this summer.

I've been to the rugby stadium for a concert vefore and the organisation and transport there was spot on.

West Wales and Cardiff

They are much the same as arena/stadium gigs in terms of scale etc.

I much prefer small gigs, but have enjoyed the couple I’ve been to. Organisation has been fine and the city centre is close by.

Transport has been ok, given the scale of the events.

Well I enjoyed a gig their last year. Sound was better than the CIA (not had to beat crap). It felt similar to entering an arena and vastly nice than the millennium stadium that has awful access issues and creates chaos around the stadium for trains and such. Just weather is a gamble.
