If you saw someone you've met through FAB, would you say hi or would you want them to pass by saying nothing?

Depends if they are with someone or not I guess? Me and Del are very open about our lifestyle so very comfortable being approached. But everyone’s different I guess.

I would probably err on the side of caution and wait for them to approach you.

Nothing wrong in saying "all right" or any localised saying. I can always remember my late father and grandfather always saying " O'right" to everyone they passed. I asked and he always said hes being polite and just acknowledging them

I wouldn't tbh, just to respect someone's privacy/discretion.

If on their own I'd perhaps smile and wait for them to say hi to me. But as a rule I'd never approach, for all I know they're meeting someone or with family or anything really.

If we were both alone, I don't see any harm in saying something. Whether that turns into a conversation or just a fleeting greeting I suppose would determine if they're interested in you.

I would not. I don't know their real life and I might cause issues. If gazebmeets a subtle nod.

I have passed one or two in the street. They were rowing others so treated them as I would with strangers.

I have recognised an old friend on here and haven't messaged or anything, feels like it would be pushing the boundaries of both out privacies

here there and everywhere

Would depends on how well I knew the person, so that i could gauge if it was appropriate or not

If they/she were alone, I’d smile, say hi but wouldn’t go further unless they initiated more and/or I was alone.

If we are friends outside of fab, then sure, but if not a smile will suffice

i'm very much the type to wait until someone says hi or nods/waves at me first. I've got no issue if people i've met say hi or whatever.

Completely depends on the situation- I’ve had people I don’t even know call me by my fab name in a previous job - had to make up a story to my colleague as to the name. I’ve seen people in their work place and just a friendly hello with no names to allow them to either reply with a polite hello or make conversation. I’ve been in a supermarket and seen someone I know from here and that polite hello turned into a good chat. Just this weekend gone I actually took my daughter out and met very good friends I know from fab/chams although we hadn’t thought about the on the spot question from her as to how we know each other so the good old ‘we went to school together’ line slipped out!
