Who would be interested in getting a club sorted somewhere in North Wales? If so get in touch with me and let's see if we can get some plans together x

Chester

I don't see us having the numbers to warrant one sadly... especially with Liverpool/Manchester being so close. Would be nice though..

The amount of people I see on here goin out of town is fairly high surely they'd use one closer aswell and if done correctly people from away would come here just like those that travel from here i mean obviously it would be a hellova thing to get in touch place but it may be worth it.

I think you'd be better off starting with parties, getting those established and then looking at getting a club going. Lots involved with getting a club going... not so much with parties,

This is the way! Build the support base first without the massive overhead of opening a club from scratch. A new club has been talked about a few times but it never comes to anything. Regular private parties that gradually got bigger would help establish the demand for a club.

Yes of course I wasn't thinking it would be just a instant thing I could take on and it be a huge event obviously baby steps to build up with local people for the local people

Interested depending on where within North Wales it would be. Only worry is that wirral, Manchester or Midlands may be quicker and easier to get to.

It would be central to the greater area probably the edge of Conwy county so it is accessible to all from the Gwynedd/Anglesey areas and then also close to both Denbigh/Flintshire areas aswell I personally think that is the best location but if anyone has ideas about it then I am all ears x

Your main issue would be licensing.

Gwynedd would never approve, I don't know about Conwy.

You could check the records to see if anyone has tried to apply for a licence before.

The other issue is everyone knowing everyone.

Bit awkward bumping into your milkman, neighbour, and worst of all a family member.

I often think I wish I had the money to set up an exclusive invite only club.

Or even buy a second home to host my open minded friends.

Private parties is the way to go as a starting foundation.

We'd be interested. We ran parties a few years ago at ours, but it took a lot of work.

Yes I can imagine it is alot of work but I have a few ideas and possibly people that who are aligned with me so it wouldn't be a solo thing. Obviously I don't have all the answers people like yourself if you would be willing to give advice and guidance along the way that would be very much appreciated.

There seem to be plenty of vacant pubs around in North Wales. Many of those would make great clubs.

Start with a few social meets in a pub.

The drop out rate initially is massive, up to 80-90%

We did a social pub meet near Chester some years ago, at first about 4 - 6 people turned up, after 6 meets about 50 turned up.

Once you can say it actually happened and show people actually attended, the numbers increased with each meet and the percentage of timewasters drop away as they have no interest in attending and you in turn have no interest in them.

There was a pub meet in Chester, not that well run and the communication was terrible.

Give it a whirl, open it up for everyone, don't exclude anyone and don't get into ping pong messages, they're a time wasters wet dream.

Don't give the name of the place out on social media.

Don't fund anything at first, just a pub and a date and a foolproof way of recognising you.

Good luck.

Genuinely appreciate you for being so kind to give me your opinion on here i agree with you completely and it would be a start similar to this with a few people i already know. It's the only way it would work if a group is to be together for the start of it. Appreciate you guys. X
