Hey all just out of curiosity looking to see how many of us are on the site and have you ever had to block a someone because they was a service user ?

I am, and although not had to block anyone yet, I am aware of three others that I work with that are on the site, although they don’t know I am (I assume) just don’t want to complicate work though. Hmmm maybe for one or two of them lol

I blocked someone a few years ago. He was at my place of work and then sent a message telling me he had seen me in uniform. I didn't have a clue who he was. I have had some people who I know at my place of work and I've asked them if they would like me to step out/work in an area away from their care. I was told they were happy for me to be there and in fact I made them feel more comfortable and less anxious..

I imagine it could lead to a frustrating shift if crewed on an ambulance or police car together for a shift. Especially if one of you knows and the other doesn't.

I'm ex emergency services and it amazes me that people advertise that they're plod on here. Asking for trouble either from psd or just some nut job with an axe to grind, both literal and metaphorical.
