Is it just me or is the flirtatiousness on fab left wanting? Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the conversations I have with people here and maybe my inability to accommodate has me less forward in such interactions. I have shared only a couple of messages with someone elsewhere but with the same intentions and well what can I say but damn it’s had my nervous system on pins and it started with a few simple but well placed innuendos and grown to all out naughties and I got me thinking why have I not seen this here? everything seems more formal and a little less intense. Just wondering if it’s just me and do I need to put myself out there a bit more? Or is it just a little more formal here? Just don’t want to end up in a dead ended rabbit hole!

I can only speak from my personal experience, with most guys the slightest bit of flirting or banter, quickly leads to badly written messages & demands for pics. It's easy to tell when a guys wanking & it's a passion killer for me. Unless I'm in the room, in real life.

You learn to keep the conversation a bit sterile X

I'd say the majority of conversations go this way, with no thought of meeting in the flesh. I have zero tolerance now, the slightest hint of anything other than mundane I'm out. I save my flirting for those I've met X

I can completely respect that! It’s a pity that so many ruin it for the rest! Nothing like a bit of raunchy back and forth teasing the brain and body! Completely wasted if they nut and run! I’d rather go to bed in a wanting state than waste the energy that could be kept for the actual time you get to meet! But thanks for the insight! Maybe as my time here progresses and I meet more people socially things will develop.

When I message someone of interest to me, I'll always start of with some light hearted humour relating to something on their profile or something in thier pictures. Never anything rude, disrespectful, or demeaning. 90% of the time, my humour isn't understood and I'm quickly shut down. Does it bother me? No, I wouldn't want to interact with someone with no sense of humour or personality. I know what you mean, there are far too many serious people on this site.

Yeah, I get that. A lot of women on here have no sense of humour or have an understanding of it... that's why our attempts get shut down. This is my opinion based upon my experiences on here. 😁

I think it’s important to remember that with text occasionally things get lost in translation.

Anyone who knows me can vouch I have a wicked sense of humour and I’m always making a joke about things. However, when the humour is sleazy rather than cheesy it’s a turn off.

Im not sure it's one way or the other. Some prefer a conversation without connotation others prefer more direct.

Personally I just message people as I would talk to them in public.

I.e. I wouldn't walk up to a women in a bar and say hi, great tit's want me to put my dick between them. Not sure here's a picture with a lynx can next to it.

I would say, hi, I read your profile you sound like you have similar interests, here's my face would you like to chat. Etc.

Things have mostly not heated up until I've met them or moved to WhatsApp or the like.

That's my experience and im not the most experienced just giving a view

If men took note of this they'd have far more luck. This is exactly how I would want to be approached, although I still wouldn't accept the naughty talk until I'd met the person & it had been mutually agreed X

Thanks for feedback on my views, and reassuring my approach has some resonance.

Feel I should caveat my experience is the approach is no guarantee of a response of any kind.

It still all boils down to whether the person I message is attracted or interested in my profile.

Had plenty of messages saying thanks but no thanks

Plenty of no responses at all

And my fair share of messages starting and fizzling to nothing.

Again this is no different to my experience in person been shot down in flames more often than not when approaching someone in a bar.

Again just sharing whats worked for me and my experience.

I much prefer to start with a good conversation alongside a bit of humour, bants and some little flirty innuendos. I’m very much a person who is attracted to your mind as well as your body/skills, and I struggle with going all out filthy with someone that I didn’t find both with. When I do, it very much changes, but I like to then take it off here so we can keep it going whilst it’s hot as not being on here frequently kinda makes it die off a bit
