"Hiya all, as some of you may have seen I tend to post statuses about how difficult I find this site as a single male to get meets without a verification yet. It just seems like many people go for those who have had meet verifications (which is fair enough), but really hard to then get that first meet. For those that haven’t seen me before, that is a struggle I have on here. I’d just like to ask (women mainly) , what is there that I could be doing to improve my chances or to make this site a lot more enjoyable for myself. When it comes to face pics, I’m happy to share but once I can trust (due to job) and when it comes to attending socials/clubs, again I’m happy to but I’d feel more comfortable doing so after I’ve had my first meet on here, or if I was attending with someone. I understand my age could be a put off but there’s not much I can do about that lol, sorry to bore anyone who’s read through this.. just looking for genuine help/advice. Merry Christmas all you lovely ladies and top blokes on here👍" Your best bet get to some organised events - ive never been but im fortunate i know quite a few on here, one of the biggest things i find is when people say "cant post a face because of job" seem 3/4 of the site work for MI5 lol. But most people know each other through socials etc, a big part of meeting people online is seeing who you talk too, almost every other app you have to use a face pic. And the chances are the people you dont want to see you youll meet at the socials anyway | |||

I’m 57 and have no problems, but then I put myself out there at organised socials and have made plenty of friends (both playing and non-playing). There are some that prefer a younger top age bracket, but I’ve found that it’s only a guide and that if you meet them at socials, and there’s a genuine connection, thing will progress. | |||

A message amongst the hundreds does not get you very far on here and as stated you do need to get out and attend events, clubs and partys to network and be more then a profile page. You might not meet someone you click with at that event but they might know someone you could be a great match with. Chams was my first ever involvement with the scene and now I dont look back and have met some of the most amazing people I now call friends as this site is based on a community not just sex. | |||

It's very different to many people. For us its a place where we can find details of club meets, parties, socials and holidays and the odd 121 meet for recreational sex. A massive majority will never meet, they just like to chat, some are looking for something they are not quite sure of themselves, some are sad, lonely individuals who live on the edge of society. We don't look for long term friends as we have no idea how we would introduce them into our vanilla friends circle. You will have to decide what category you fit into and act accordingly. I left for a relationship... Came back.. and I have found it harder going.. That said.. im older / fatter / less attractive maybe.. Also there are newer/more people on fab. So it is what it is, in some respects... That said I think like anything if you approach things with openess and dont get butt hurt if someone doesnt like you.. After all the good advice, you decide to snap back at someone who, whilst it could have been phrased better, made the point that others had made.
