I'm being inundated with messages and friends requests, and I'm finding it difficult to keep up with it all. Do I hire a secretary to deal with my popularity? Or simply seek advice from the forum? I'll go with the latter. How do I deter people on here? Any advice will be gratefully received and acted upon accordingly. Ta.

Go onto your account and choose message filter , go through and block any that you think will help

As for the friend requests I don't think there's any filter for that , but I've got it clear in my profile that anyone sends one will be blocked , I only accept those I've met

Lucky you, or not so!

I've heard women say the same, as Mrs T said you can filter and block if you choose to

Sometimes being straightforward if they aren't for you works...

If you leave friend requests just sitting in your inbox, they can't send another. I always say "this is where unsolicited friend requests come to die" 😂

Absolutely this! Don't accept them just leave them there, currently at about 700 odd on mine, 6 in my friends all people I've met.

Yay happy days!

Not to be pedantic but shouldn't it be advice?
