Anyone need a hotel today? Stupidly managed to book 2 which are now both non refundable (one was showing as free cancellation until 1 today but now showing as not). Date change request takes 24 hours to approve (not helpful!) via booking.com and the hotel won’t change the date if the booking is not made via them.

It’s in Cardiff. Please message me if there’s any takers!

I done the same thing, ring booking.com and they might be able to change it for you (they did for me)

I hate booking.com and their affiliates with a vengeance! Managed to cancel the other one and re book for a different date.

I was out £200 last year by booking.com’s spin off rentalcars.com. I paid upfront for a hire car, went to collect it and the company refused it even though I’d paid upfront for it. The hire company said they’d refund me and when they didn’t, I chased and I was told to go to rental cars.com. They refused to refund me cos I didn’t contact them at the time, even though none of their documentation said to do that 😡
